I stood there worrying for the life of my angel. " If you move Mia I'll kill you. " he hissed. I growled at him over my dead body was he gonna kill her. I could see Mia's body shaking I didn't know if it was from fear or anger. I didn't care though. All I cared about was getting my mate to safety. I knew I had to attack Zack when he was least expecting it. I finally decided that now was the time I shifted and pounced on him hearing a gun go off. I waited for a pain to hit me but it never did. I heard a scream behind me and panicked.
