Personal Note: I receive multiple messages every week asking what celebrities I imagine as my characters or why I haven't posted images of my cast. So, I think it's time I address the question publically.
The reason I don't post character images is based on personal preference. We all have a different perspective of life and people, which is crucial to remember about the world in general.
Therefore, what may be deemed beautiful or attractive to one person could be the complete opposite for another. I encourage my readers to create character images in their imagination for this very reason.
When I read, I enjoy how my brain creatively pieces together how the characters look, sound, or behave. It's interesting what happens when we allow our imagination to do the work. The process creates an emotional connection to the characters and makes our beloved stories become even more real.
That said, don't let this deter you from sharing your amazing fandom creations with me. Like you have just seen, I love when readers share how they imagine the characters to look or what celebrities they resemble. I may even add them to my books, social media, or website like I'm doing now.
