The nightmare is more of a night terror for Minjoo because it feels as if she might die from the pain in her brain. She wakes up sweating alot. It is three in the morning, she can't sleep at all maybe due to the fact that she's restless. Minjoo wants to contact Chaewon but she said mean things to the latter, it is a dumb move especially when Chaewon gave her a sandwich in return. She tries her best to sleep and prepare her mental health.
The rambunctious blaring of the small alarm clock jarred Minjoo out of her small nap as she jolts up, smashing the off button as hard as she possibly can. Minjoo groans as she begins to wake the others up to prepare for school.
Minjoo sighs for the nth time as she walks to school with the others, "what's wrong?" Wonyoung furrows her eyebrows as she look at Minjoo. The latter just dismisses the topic saying it is nothing important. Suddenly someone crashes the group, backhugging Yuri. Of course it's Yena, the others just follows her from behind. Minjoo wants to make sure everything is settled with Chaewon but the latter seems to be avoid Minjoo. The squad suspiciously glances at the two and cautiously ask, "did you two fight?"
Both Minjoo and Chaewon denies it a lot too fast, as Chaewon rolls her eyes. "Ask this goody two shoes bitch right here." The squad gasps as Chaewon never treat Minjoo that harsh before. Trying to not be bias but Eunbi can predict that's probably Minjoo's fault. "C-chaewon iㅡ" Minjoo is about to apologize to the girl but Chaewon cut her off, "shouldn't you be worried about your so-called top two student reputation right now?" Chaewon clicks her tongue.
As if it's on cue, there are a lot of people howling at the school's main bulletin board. Both Chaewon and Minjoo knows what's going on. Unlike Minjoo who stays frozen, Chaewon sprints to the board. The squad follows Chaewon as Yujin practically dragging Minjoo on the way.
With Eunbi and Yujin's athletic abilities, they're able to shove some students away as they are now in front of the bulletin board. The squad is speechless, they can't believe they're seeing this. Pictures of Chaewon and Minjoo are covering half of the bulletin board. Chaewon clenches her fist and punches the bulletin board while ripping the photos off thr board. "Fuck off, there's nothing to see here anymore."
The strawberry-haired girl earns some boos and vulgar comments which irks her yet she's worried about the other girl. Everything crashes for Minjoo, people will comment nasty shit about her but that's not bothering her right now. Minjoo just want to say sorry, genuinely at Chaewon. "We shouldn't be seen together for awhile," Chaewon mutters as she storms off to her classroom.
The squad blinks, they still can't believe that it isn't a whole messy nightmare. Minjoo, half-heartedly explains to the squad regarding on things they are missing out. She also tell them that she accidentally spit out harsh words at Chaewon yesterday due to anger.
Chaewon miscount how many times she groans this morning, school is just going to be a pain in the ass right now yet the gossips will die down soon so she honestly don't give a shit. Probably both Chaewon and Minjoo just has to deal and endure with it for like a week as it will die down.
Chaewon enters the class, receiving some howlings from the boys in the back. She loathes men. Those perverted human beings, she ignores them as she slumps to her seat. Chaeyeon, Eunbi and Yena arrives couple of minutes later as they comfort the girl.
Back at Minjoo's side, she gets it worse. A lot of people start to jeer at her and calling her names but some of them are on her side as well. Yujin is about to kick some ass but Minjoo told her to calm down and not create more attention.
"We didn't know Minjoo can get this freaky!" "She ditches class for Chaewon?" "I am disappointed she's willing to get down with some slacker such as Chaewon. Minjoo deserve better." "Yo Chaewon isn't forcing Minjoo right!? She has Minjoo's consent right?!"
Minjoo can't believe her ears, these students are just purely nosy. She tries to control her breathe to focus. She prepares her notebook for the lesson and ignores her surroundings. Minjoo has math lessons yet she couldn't focus or probably too distracted to focus. She just blantly spinning her pen around her slim fingers. The latter decides to go to the toilet because she's bored, some guy at the class tells before Minjoo goes out of the door. "Don't get caught making out with Chaewon again!" Minjoo hates the fact that she blushes at that statement.
Eunbi decides to take over the situation by reporting this later at lunch time to the principal since it can be classified as bullying is some way as it's blackmailing as well.
Finally it's lunch, the cafeteria is a cacophony of loud chatter, each table a cosseted huddle of people raising their voices to be heard above the din. The food is secondary to the information that is exchange here. Over the over-salted fries alliances are formed and gossip trade like poker chips who are just talking about Chaewon and Minjoo.
The squad gathers at their usual table yet Chaewon and Minjoo have an awkward tension amongst themselves. Mainly because Minjoo fiddles too much due to embarrassment and just an unbothered Chaewon. Minjoo scratches her forehead as she pokes Chaewon's cheeks earning a scowl.
"I am so sorry, i didn't mean to say those words. I was so frustrated that time as i was out of my mind." Minjoo pouts.
"Dumbass, " Chaewon clicks her tongue as she continues "i forgave you the moment i gave you the sandwich." The table now is full of awes as Minjoo hugs Chaewon whereas the latter rolls her eyes. Eunbi smiled seeing the pure interaction Chaewon probably haven't notice but the girl has a soft spot for Minjoo.
Time flies faster than ever as school is already over, now Eunbi just has to deal with Hitomi. Eunbi do not want to handle this alone as she drags Chaewon with her to the principal's office.
The rest of the squad decides to just crash in Wonyoung, Yuri, Minjoo and Yujin's dorm. "Okay i have been wonder about the pictures taken. I mean, how did that happen?" Yena smirks as she nudges Minjoo who covers her face due to embarrassment. "Whose top whose bottom?" Chaeyeon chimes in the conversation.
Minjoo rolls her eyes, she's totally not answering that. "Well i am just here shocked that Minjoo is willing to do such things at school" Wonyoung gives a teasing grin at the pastel haired girl. Minjoo hufts, she can't believe Wonyoung is joining them.
Minjoo explains that they were having a paint fight so their clothes got messy. They had to change their uniform to hoodies then Minjoo can't bear to continue to tell the rest of the moments.
"Probably you were about to rip Chaewon's skirt but remember that you're at school." Yujin gives a sly smile.
"Well you aren't wrong." Minjoo states as she then dashes to the bathroom leaving the other screaming in horror.
