I was sitting in the cafeteria with my group of friends; Hyunjin was too busy eating her bread to want to take part in the conversation, Haseul was taking care of her younger sister Yeojin who always sat with us and Vivi head her headphones in as she read her manga.

Heejin and I were talking and I broke into laughter at a joke she had just told me when I was interrupted by what sounded like someone mimicking my laughter. I turned around and saw the troublemaker himself; Kang Minhee

He smirked at me as he and his friends continued to walk towards their table. "Nice laugh (Y/N). You remind me of a donkey." In a matter of moments, I stood up from my seat, ready to attack.

My friends noticed and pulled me down before I could do any real harm.  "Yah! Are you trying to get into trouble?" Hyunjin exclaimed as she went back to eating her bread. Heejin nodded in agreement as she looked at me. "You really need to stop letting him get to you. You know he's only joking."

I rolled my eyes as I sat back down in my seat. "Thanks for having my back guys. Besides, Kang Minhee isn't nice. He's the devil." The lunch bell rang and students began to head inside the building as my friends and I soon followed. Haseul shrugged as she waved goodbye to Yeojin and the four of us continued before going our separate ways. "I don't know. He seems to nice to be the devil."

I waved goodbye to my friends as we all went into our respective classes. I sat in my usual seat only to see a change in seats. I looked at the board to see that I would be seating with: Kang Minhee. I let out a deep sigh as I made my way to my seat to see Minhee already seated.

Once I put my stuff down, I turned to my side to see Minhee smirking at me. Glaring at him, I began to speak. "You may have everyone else fooled, but I know that you're just as bad as I know you are." Minhee simply shrugged as the teacher walked in to begin class.

Halfway through class, I saw Minhee doodling in my notebook. I hit him as a sign to stop, but it didn't make him stop. He just continued to doodle until my entire page was filled with it. Angry, I turned towards him and yelled. "Yah Kang Minhee! Stop it!"

The entire class stopped and started to stare at the two of us. My eyes widened as I watched the teacher walk in our direction. I meekly smiled but that's want enough.

"Kang Minhee And Lee (Y/N)! To the principal's office, now!" We both nodded without saying a word and made our way to the principals office. The teacher soon followed and closed the door. "In your last year of high school, you think it's fun to play games? If you like games so much, I have the perfect one for you. It's called 2 hour detention. Dismissed." The two of us deeply bowed before exiting the office. I glared at Minhee one last time before walking back to class alone.

The end of the day rolled by and Minhee and I were placed in an empty classroom. Our teacher walked in and slammed a thick math workbook on each of our desks. "You have until  the end of detention to get through majority of this book. I expect at least 40 pages filled." As he walked out of the classroom, I simply opened the workbook and tried my best to get as much work done.

'Just endure it (Y/N)... 2 hours and we can go home'

As I was working, I felt someone's presence next to me. I looked up from my desk to see Minhee. Before I could speak, he placed a bar of chocolate and a small flower on my desk, a small smile on his face. "I wanted to apologize, (Y/N). I went too far and I shouldn't have done what I did earlier today. Do you think you could forgive me?"

I sighed and looked back at Minhee with a small smile. "Sure, I forgive you Minhee. Let's just forget this ever happened." Minhee nodded as he went back to his work. Curious, I cleared my throat to get his attention. "Minhee, do you think I can ask why you were doodling in my book? Were you trying to make me mad?"

Minhee softly smiled and rubbed the back of his neck in embarrassment. "I guess I just wanted your attention. I didn't know how to get you to talk to me so I thought teasing you would at least get you to notice me. I think I took it too far though.." I watched as Minhee hung his head low, ashamed of his actions. I stood up and made my way to his desk.

His eyes widened when I kneeled forward towards his face. "Well if you wanted my attention, you should've just asked." Minhee looked away, too flustered to say a word with his face bright red. I let out a small laugh as I continued to find a way to get Minhee to look at me. An idea finally came to me as I stood up next to his desk. "Kang Minhee, will you go out on a date with me? I want to get to know you properly." Minhee quickly turned his head on my direction, a smile slowly making its way to his face as he nodded. I smiled back as I walked back to my desk, a small red tint on my cheeks as we continued to work, taking small glances at each other as the time rolled by.
