[YOUR POV]

I had walked into my parents chicken shop after a long day at school. I threw my bag aside and put on an apron and began to help. I heard my mother yell at me to start cleaning tables as I nodded. Since our shop was placed in an area near the school, it was becoming busier every day and business was good. Sadly, with my parents not wanting to hire a part timer, all my free time that I didn't spend studying was meant for me to work inside the shop.

I had finished cleaning the tables and bathroom when I heard my dad call me over. He handed me a 4 bags filled with chicken and an address on a piece of paper. "Umay! We got a big order and I need you to deliver it! Thanks dear!" I let out a sigh and nodded, knowing I couldn't say no to my own father. I placed the chicken in the compartment on my scooter and started to make my way to the address on the piece of paper.

Once I had arrived, I noticed it was a huge house with a security fence. "Wow, I better get a good tip if I'm delivering here!" I took out the chicken and made my way to the door, pressing the buzzer to alert the owner that their order had arrived.

[HYEONGJUN'S POV]

I had invited all my friends over for a small get together to celebrate the end of exams. Even though it was supposed to me small, I had managed to have over 15 people at this 'small get together'. We were talking about exams and our plans for the summer when I heard the buzzer ring. I smiled brightly and stood up right away. "That's the chicken! One of my classmates recommended this store. Apparently it's near our school"

I put on my shoes and made my way to the security door, opening the huge gate to see a girl with the biggest eyes holding huge bags of chicken. She smiled at me and looked down at the order to confirm it. "4 bags of chicken for Song Hyeongjun, right?" I was awestruck that I couldn't hear her speak: all I saw was her lips moving while I had the dopiest grin on my face.

She let out a small laugh and snapped her fingers in front of my face to get my attention, which worked as I snapped back to reality to see her clearly struggling with holding all the bags of chicken. "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry. I don't usually zone out like that." She shook her head and smiled back. "It's fine, it happens to the best of us. Especially with exams done. This is your order, right?"

I nodded and handed her the card for payment in exchange for the large bags of chicken. Once the transaction was completed, she handed me my card and receipt. I thanked her and without thinking, blurted out a proposal. "Would you like to stay and have the chicken? I'm having a small get together with my friends to celebrate exams being over and the more the merrier, right?" She gave me a sad smile and shook her head. "Sorry, I wish I could but my parents really need me back. Enjoy the chicken and if you like it, feel free to order more!"

I watched as the girl drove off on her scooter as I closed the gate and walked back into the house. The others were growing impatient and grabbed the chicken out of my hands once I had entered. "What took you so long? We've been waiting for a good ten minutes!" Minhee exclaimed as I simply sat down and smiled. Yohan noticed my behaviour and looked at me with a worried look. "Hey, are you okay? By the time you're done zoning out, they'll be no more chicken."

I let out a small chuckle and laid back on the floor, staining at the ceiling. "It's okay.. I think I'll be ordering more chicken from now on."

[YOUR POV]

It was already 2 weeks into summer vacation and I had been working for my parents around the clock. Specifically on call in orders. After ordering chicken in that rich neighbourhood, I kept getting called back every night since then. At first it was great for business and it gave me more reasons to be out. But after a dozen times, I was beginning to think that something was off.

I was serving some customers when my dad called me to the back. I entered the kitchen where he had prepared a bag of chicken for delivery. He gave me a look which I knew what it was for. I sighed and grabbed the chicken and said goodbye, already knowing the address I had to go to. I arrived earlier than other days as I grabbed the chicken and pressed the buzzer.

Moments later, Hyeongjun came out, a bright smile on his face once he saw it was me. "Hey Umay! You're really early today! Did something happen?" I shook my head and handed him his chicken as I got the machine ready for his card. "Nope. I've been here so often that I've made my own shortcut. Which makes me need to ask this question: is everything okay, Hyeongjun?"

He let out a small laugh as he payed for his chicken. "Why would you say that? I just love your shops chicken. The seasonings are amazing! Why do you ask?" I sighed as I handed him his receipt. "Hyeongjun, no one orders chicken every day for two weeks in a row. Now I have the feeling that there is something up. Is there?" I watched as Hyeongjun started to get nervous as he took a deep breath in.

"Okay! I need to be honest with you. Ever since the first day you delivered, I kind of fell for you. Well, you're really beautiful that it was kind of hard to look away." I blushed at his comment as he continued to speak. "I wanted to ask you out on a date to get to know you better, but I didn't know how to contact you. So I thought the next time you delivered chicken to me, I'd ask. But next time turned into the next 15 times."

We both laughed as Hyeongjun looked at me, more confident than he was before. "Umay... will you let me take you out on a date? I would love to get to know you better." I smiled and considered his offer before I remember a key factor: I had to work. I gave Hyeongjun a small smile and looked down. "I'm sorry Hyeongjun. I would love to, but I'm the only other person who works at my family's shop beside my parents. I barely have time for me. I don't know how I'll have time for a date."

Hyeongjun frowned for a bit before he walked back inside his house. I looked at his door, in shock that he left so abruptly as I started to get ready to go back to the shop. Before I could leave, I heard the metal gate close and Hyeongjun dressed up, smiling at me. "Hyeongjun? Where are you going?"

He smiled brighter as he took my seat as the driver of the scooter, handing me the extra helmet. "I'm going to talk to your parents so that I can take you out on a date. And trust me, I'm not taking no for an answer." I smiled brightly and held on tight as we drove back to my shop, Hyeongjun preparing himself to ask for my parents blessing.
