It had been a couple of months since I had befriended Seungwoo and I could already tell that it was the start of a beautiful friendship. I helped him become more social, allowing us to have a new set of friends and to establish a new friend group we could be comfortable in. Seungwoo helped me with my problems, more specifically my unchanged feelings for Wooseok.

With the time I had spent getting close to Seungwoo, I was drifting further and further away from Wooseok. It was intentional at first; I couldn't stop my feelings from growing and didn't want them to show, especially since he was still together with Somi. But after a while, I stated to drift away from him unconsciously.

I had just walked into school on a cool spring morning; it was near the end of our junior year and it was my last time to have a bit of fun before I was in full study mode for my senior year. As I was walking towards my classroom, I felt an arm wrap itself around my shoulder. Looking up, I was greeted by Seungwoo with a smile painted on his lips. Smiling back to him, we both began to talk about anything and everything.

Seungwoo walked me to my class to drop me off as his class was further down the hall from mine. After saying our goodbyes, I had walked inside the classroom where I cane face to face with Wooseok. He looked frustrated and his hair was sticking up from different directions; a sign that he was upset about something. Unsure of what to do, I nervously smiled to him and headed to my seat.

As I was grabbing my things out, my seatmate Jisoo nudged me. "Hey (Y/N), did you hear? Apparently, Somi cheated on Wooseok! And with an older guy! Can you believe that?" My eyes widened at the sudden news. I looked back to the door only to find Wooseok gone. Before I could make it out the door to go find him, the bell rang and the teacher entered the classroom to start.

I impatiently waited for the lunch bell to ring and as soon as it did, I ran out of the classroom as quickly as I could. Out in the hallways, I had bumped into Seungwoo who wore a confused look on his face. "I need your help finding Wooseok. I'll search outside and you do inside, okay?" Following my words, Seungwoo nodded and began to search the various classrooms in the school as I ran outside, continuing my search for Wooseok.

After checking different areas outside, I decided to check the bleachers, only to find Somi there with a couple of her friends. My blood began to boil as I saw her acting so carefree as if her actions didn't cause any harm. I walked up to her and pulled her away from her conversation. Once we were far enough, I let go of her arm and began to interrogate her. "Is it true Lee Somi? Did you cheat on Wooseok with an older guy?"

I watched as Somi scoffed, a sly smile plastered on her lips. "Why does it matter to you? So what if I cheated on him? He was going to break up with me anyways." I clenched my fists in anger, taking deep breaths to calm myself down. "So you believe cheating would have been better? You pretty much broke his heart!"

Somi bit her lip as she looked down, avoiding my eye contact. "He didn't even like me..he only dated me because I confessed to him. He tried his best to like me, but he couldn't. He just liked you" I was taken aback by Somi's words but before I could ask her for more, the bell rang. Defeated and still no clue where Wooseok was, I went back inside. Classes continued like normal but the thought of where Wooseok was was in my mind the whole day.

The end of the school day had finally come and I had decided to check up on Wooseok at his house. I waved goodbye to Wooseok as I headed towards Wooseok's house. Upon arriving, I knocked on the door only to have it opened by Wooseok himself. I could see the surprise in his eyes. I smiled softly as he let me in. "(Y/N), what are you doing here?" Without warning, I hit his shoulder and I saw him wince in pain before I began to hit him repeatedly, tears falling down and staining my face.

Wooseok managed to grab my hands as he slowly wiped away the stray tears on my face. "What is the matter (Y/N)? You know you can tell me anything." Taking in a shaky breath, I began. "One hit is for not telling me what was happening with you and Somi. Another hit is for you walking out like that today and not telling anyone. All the other hits were for treating Somi like that."

Wooseok scoffed as he slowly let go of my hands. "She was the one who cheated on me! Why should I be the one who's sorry?" I looked up at Wooseok, seeing the anger and frustration in his eyes. "Because you never liked her Wooseok. You played with her feelings because in reality, you like someone else." I watched Wooseok's face change; his eyes widened as he was taken aback.

I softly smiled as I took Wooseok's hands back into mine. "Somi told me everything. That you liked me and you tried to like her and it didn't end well. I feel like now I should tell you how I feel." Tightening my grip around his hands, I continued. "I like you, Kim Wooseok. A lot. Will you be mine?"

Wooseok began to smile brightly as he gently cupped my face, pulling himself closer until there was no space left between us. Once our lips parted, he rested his forehead against mine as he softly whispered. "I've never gotten a confession before. It feels good." We both let out laughs as Wooseok pulled me into a tight hug, resting his chin at the top of my head. " I love you (Y/N) and I promise that I will do whatever it takes to make sure that I am with you forever. I'm not letting you go"
