Warning: This chapter contains LOTS of fluff. Like a fluff overload. I realized: My book is ENDING. I need to show how much I ADORE Jiper. And I realized why I don't like Reyna: She could mess up this perfect ship! Jiper is perfect. I seriously cannot get these two out of my mind. I gush all the time how much I need them together... Anyways, onto the story! 2 chapters left, demigods!

Chapter 54

Jason

The clouds stayed, along with the light mood, which Jason was thankful for. For once he felt refreshed every day. He trained all the time, trying to get in shape for Greece- the final and most dangerous obstacle he still had to get over. It was a hard path to finish.

He was lazily training by climbing the rock wall with lava trickling down it- a smaller replica of Camp Half-Blood’s climbing wall. It was a bit of a challenge, but nothing he couldn’t handle.

By the time he reached the top, he heard someone laugh behind him. “Jason Grace, I swear you are such a show-off.”

“Oh?” He climbed down faster than he got up. Piper stood behind him, in her jacket and jeans since the bitter weather.

“You heard me.” She smirked. “What are you doing in here, Sparky? The others are doing something entertaining.”

     “What is it?”

Her smile became sheepish. “Nothing, actually, I just wanted to come here.” She went over to him and hugged him.

He realized that he hadn’t really had a moment alone with Piper in a while. He soaked up her warmth. “Thanks for coming,” he whispered.

“It’s nothing.” She looked up at him. “I can’t believe we’re actually going to Greece. It’ll be the final battle.”

“We’ll defeat Gaea.” Jason looked down at Piper’s worried face. “What?”

“I can’t help but be worried.” She chewed on her bottom lip. “Anyways, come on. We can train later!”

He grinned at her eagerness. “What are we doing, exactly?”

“I have no clue.” She dragged him out of the training room and outside. The air was wet and cold. The clouds still hung in the air, mist floating everywhere.

Leo was there, standing and looking at the clouds. He turned and grinned. “Hey, it’s Sparky and Beauty Queen!”

     “Hey, Repair Boy,” Jason greeted.

“The clouds look like… blobs,” Piper decided. She looked at the clouds again. “Or gray ice cream.”

“What flavor would the gray ice cream be?” Leo asked. “I bet it would be dust bunnies.”

“You’re so disgusting, Leo Valdez.” Piper stuck her tongue out at him. “What, have you ever tried a dust bunny?”

“No.” He grinned. “You will though.”

He grabbed her wrists and began to drag her inside. “No, Leo, stop, I didn’t mean it!” Piper screamed.

“Ah, you can go.” Leo released her, so she was still struggling, so she hit the guiderail and huffed.

     “Idiot,” she muttered.

“Hey, do you think that Greece will be ready for us?” Leo suddenly asked. He glanced at the sky.
