 Friday January 23rd

Mason smiled as she opened the door to the lecture hall. This was honestly probably the first time that she had actually looked forward to a psych lecture since the class started three weeks ago.

And if she was being truly honest she was most looking forward to seeing if Andrew had responded back or even gotten her note. She hadn't mentioned the note to anyone, not even her roommates back at the dorm for fear of making it a bigger deal then it really was. Especially since she didn't know who had given it to her.

But Mason was happy. She was happy and she felt special. Something that she had discovered wasn't always common in daily life and believed that when those moments happened one should cherish them.

So as Mason bounced down the stairs to row five and shuffled her way towards the ninth seat in she felt her heartbeat accelerate.

There sitting on the small, foldout desk connected to her seat was a small folded piece of paper.

Mason felt like she was grinning like an idiot as she tried to move quickly to the seat and in the process stepping on a few people's feet and having to apologize profusely.

Finally Mason reached her seat, her headphones where already plugged into her phone from walking across campus from the library to get here that she began unraveling them and put them in her ears. For the last two days Don't Blink had been on repeat on her iTunes and she was excited to see what new music he suggested.

Taking her time in case Andrew was watching her from wherever he sat she dropped her bag with a small plop and adjusted the hood of her sweatshirt so that the strings weren't strangling her as she curled into the seat.

She held the note in her hand as she tried to focus on Dr. Collins who was smiling brightly at the class. Unable to hold out any longer Mason unfolded the small note.

                                Mason-

What an insanely cool name and that song...like Wow!

                                Priceless - Mayday Parade

                                You'll love it.

                                Yours truly,

                                        Andrew

Mason's smile grew when she noticed an extra note written on the back, it was just lyrics but it made her day.

                                P.S. 'She say's she's a rebel but she's way too sentimental'
