Friday January 30th
Mason's fingers danced over her phone's keyboard as she watched the dancing dots signifying that Andrew was texting back. It had been two days of learning more and more about Andrew. Learning more about his quirky sense of humor, more about his amazing music taste, and more about him in general. And if she had to be honest, it was more and more of her finding things she liked about him. Like how he had an addiction to coffee with a hint of creamer added but no sugar added, and how dark roast coffee was his favorite. Or how he preferred music with a message then just music for noise. How Ron Pope was his current favorite artist next to Mayday Parade.
Mason knew she was falling fast and hard and while that excited her it also made her worry.
Her roommates had already noticed her phone being blown up and had even tried to convince her that she should try and figure out who Andrew really was. But Mason had come to the conclusion that no matter how much she wanted to know she also didn't want this to end. It was sweet, Andrew was sweet, and Mason liked it.
Is psych really so bad? Or am I just so interesting?
Mason smiled as Andrew's message finally got to her, but sighed as she typed back her response sending a second message quickly after.
Psych's not bad, just not super fond of the topics lately, to be honest.
And you're way more interesting than any psych lecture ;)
Andrew's message came in three parts in quick succession. The third attached with a goofy smile emoji that showed he was joking.
Why Mason, again with the flirting I see!
Not fond of relationships?
Should I be worried?
Mason looked up at Dr. Collins, trying to find a level between honesty and keeping the conversation light before she responded. She sent her song suggestion of the day before figuring out how she wanted to respond.
Say You Like Me - We the Kings
I haven't had the best luck with relationships.
Why be worried, we're just friend's right? ;) :)
The guy sitting next to Mason starting coughing, closing his computer screen quickly as he shoved a bottle of water into his bag.
Making eye contact with him Mason mouthed "You ok?"
He nodded still coughing holding up a finger to respond and she took a second to take him in. His blonde hair wasn't short but it also wasn't long and his black-framed glasses gave him the nerdy look without being too much. He was really cute in a classic sense. Mason couldn't help but smile at him.
When he finally seemed to catch his breath he smiled back at her, "Yeah just choked on water. Thanks though."
He returned her smile and her stomach flipped happily. "No problem." With another smile she turned back to the front.
Even though it probably wasn't possible she wondered if he happened to be Andrew.

As always thank you so much for reading this chapter! You have no idea what it means to me!
Sorry it's taken so long to update, life has been insanely busy with the semester starting up again and with Sing Song. But I'm hoping now that it's started to slow down I'll be able to start uploading again. Start expecting one or two updates on Fridays every week and more if I get excited by votes and can't contain myself! Thanks for sticking with me though through this short hiatus.
Now on to the chapter, Mason's starting to open up to Andrew and we're getting a better look into their relationship. What do you think? Any speculations on how the rest of the story's going to play out?
And what about the blonde guy? What do y'all think of him?
As Always,
-S
