Wednesday January 28th

Mason dropped her phone on the table with a loud clatter earning her looks from several of the other students mulling around the basement of the library. For a Wednesday evening it was more crowded then she had anticipated.

After studying for their biology exam in one of the private rooms all Mason wanted was the comfort of one of the booths in the basement. Really all she wanted was a booth and for Andrew to text her back. The cup he had written on had been rinsed out and in her bag for fear that she'd accidentally throw it away and a new steaming cup sat in front of her.

Pulling out her copy of Wuthering Heights Mason took out all the notes from Andrew. With each new book she read she just transferred the notes over. Laying them out she counted five notes, five note from five days of class. She's known Andrew for less than two weeks. They hadn't even exchanged any spoken words just written words. And those written words probably didn't even add up to more than a handful, right? Was it weird for her to already feel closer to him then she did to most people?

Mason unlocked her phone, checking to see if she mysteriously missed any messages. When it became clear that she hadn't she pushed the phone away to where it was almost out of reach and forced herself to begin reading the novel in front of her.

After 15 minutes of pretending to read with a handful of stolen glances towards her phone Mason was rewarded with it lighting up.

Reaching out quickly she grabbed the phone and unlocked it with a swipe of her thumb. There under Andrew's name was a message notification. Mason's heart soared and she had to take a deep breath to steady her shaking hands.

I'm so glad you enjoy doodles.

It would have been very awkward if you didn't.

                                Did you enjoy the drink?

I couldn't remember if it was the right one or not.

I couldn't give you Andrew's side and not give you Mason's. Thank you so much for reading and for the votes. Y'all are seriously the best. Enjoy!
