Mason was still standing in the middle of the ninth row as students started trickling in for the class that started at 3pm.
“Hey Mason!”
Startled Mason looked up from her phone as Dylan sat in the seat she had just left. “Hey.”
“How are you?”
Mason replied with a soft smile as she slung her bag over her shoulder, “I’m doing ok, how are you?”
“As soon as this math class is over I’ll be great.” Dylan was swinging a pair of headphones, wrapping and unwrapping them from around his fingers.
“Yeah, I completely understand.”
Dylan looked at the time on his watch before pulling out his phone, “We’re planning a movie night this weekend. A few of the guys from the house are coming, you should definitely come, Clara too.”
Mason smiled, for the last semester and a half she had been trying to set Dylan and Clara up. “I don’t think we have anything planned. Text me the details and we’ll be there.”
Dylan’s face lit up and she smacked his knee as she finally began to leave the row.
With a final wave she left the lecture hall.
And as she began walking towards the library to meet up with Clara and Quinn she looked at her phone. Still unsure of what to say. Still unsure of how to feel.
