-Two years later-
"Are you excited?" Nat asked.
I started to grin. My heart beats up to my neck.
If someone had told me two years ago that I was standing here today and marrying Shawn, I would never have believed it.
After he literally "kidnapped" me from my wedding with Waylon, we started talking about everything. Nat was privy to the whole plan. I also talked to Nat after the whole action and we are best friends again.
Shawn and I bought a house in London right by the sea with a beautiful garden and two extra children's rooms. I was happier than ever, we talked about child planning and our plans where I broke off the contact to my parents completely, the only one of my family that stands completely behind me is my Grandma.
"Nat, this is going to be the best day of my life."
"Oh Darling, it will. Now you are a real woman. Come on, the ceremony's about to begin."
Nat gave me a kiss on the cheek and hugged me. She looked deep into my eyes.
"After all that has happened I am happy to say that you are my best friend. I am proud of you".

The ceremony began. I insisted that Grandma lead me to the altar. We decided for a free wedding with the closest friends at the sea.
Everyone we wanted there had come. I couldn't be happier. Grandma led me to the altar and I saw how Shawn had tears in his eyes.
He looked incredibly good in his suit and even tears came to me.
Grandma handed me over to Shawn and pinched him in the arm. " I knew from the beginning that you were good for my little one. "
Shawn thanked her and then turned to me.
"You are my one and only and I will always promise to love you for better or for worse."
This made me even more emotional and I started to cry. Shawn hugged me and kissed my forehead.
The priest asked us to step forward and began the ceremony.
"Melody Hudson, do you want to love and honor Shawn Mendes in good times and bad, so answer yes I do."
"Yes I Do."
Never before have I wanted anything more like this moment. I wanted to love him. Forever. Every second for the rest of my life I would love to spend with him.
"Shawn Mendes, do you want to love and honor Melody Hudson in good times and in bad, so answer yes I Do ."
"Yes I Do."
"You can kiss now."
Shawn grabbed me by my hip and pulled me to himself. Never before has a kiss from us had so much passion. In the background you could hear sounds applauding.
I was happy. No - we were happy.
"I love you Melody Mendes. Forever. Promise?"
