Nine countries, Japan, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Canada, and Poland, all sat in a circle. America placed a full bottle of water in the middle before he himself sat down between Japan and Germany.
"I'm sure you can guess how we play this. I'll spin the bottle, which will decide the person who asks, and they'll spin the bottle, to see who they're asking. Simple?"
A few nodded, but everyone was able to get it.
"Okay, let's see," America's tongue stuck out of the corner of his mouth as he spun the bottle. Some leaned in, interested in who it's land on. Russia sat back ad took another swig of his vodka.
And the bottle landed on...Russia.
"Oh shit," he said, sitting up a little straighter, "ok, uh." He spun again, and it landed on South Korea. "Truth or Dare?"
"D-dare," he said, wincing as he obviously regretted his answer.
Russia smirked evilly to tease him, to which the chosen country gulped in fear.
"Sing one of Japan's anime openings," he said.
He wasn't planning on giving any hard dares just yet.The country was slack-jawed, but it quickly shut as he blushed, realizing what he had to do.
"O-ok. I'll sing, uh, the opening from 'Your Lie in April.' Could someone find a karaoke or something?"
Japan pulled up her phone and started playing the song. South Korea was feeling very hot already, he thought he might pass out from the pressure. Still, he sang.
"雨上がりの虹も 凛と咲いた花も 色づき溢れ出す茜(ameagari no mini mo rinta saita hana mo irodzuki afure daso akane)..."
Everyone was silenced and just listened as his voice carried through beautifully. It was so nice, even though his voice seemed a little shaky from his nerves.
Japan, most of all, was in complete awe of him. Her eyes shone as he performed her music so wonderfully. Her heart started to beat in a way that caused her stomach to churn. And, despite the weird feelings in her body, see liked every bit of it. She loved the way his singing made her feel. Even if it wasn't directed at her, it made her feel like she was dancing without moving, and like she could be swayed off by a small breeze. It was just something about South Korea speaking in her mother tongue that made her feel happier than she ever could be.
Unfortunately, like most good things, his singing came to an end. He hadn't been told to sing the whole thing, and he damn sure didn't want to continue singing at the moment. It was embarrassing. One, because privatized performances made him uncomfortable; and two, he tended to think about Japan when he sang it.
Everyone clapped for him, and Russia looked a little upset that he hadn't told SK to sing the whole thing. Well, no matter, it was SK's turn now.
He spun it, and it landed on Germany, who was dared to confess to his crush without saying their name. It turned into some lengthy, very poetic speech, most of of it in German, that left Japan squealing and some people now curious as to who exactly Germany was talking about.
And it went on. Germany chose Philippines who fought Indonesia with bamboo spears Philippines landed on Poland who confessed about his PTSD and small fear of Germany and Russia, which the other two made no comment on. Poland chose America who was asked to do the hula in a Russian flag themed skirt (which everyone now owns a recording of). They actually used one of Japan's skirts and spray painted it to look like Russia's flag. It took forever and was the longest turn in the game.
When he did his dance he sat down and put his arm back around Japan's shoulders, making the girl laugh a little and playfully push him away. She couldn't help laughing when he was still shirtless and in a skirt.
Russia raised a brow at him.
"What, you're not taking it off?"
America just smirked at him and said, "Dude, I look good in this skirt. If I look good, I'm wearing it."
"You like wearing skirts?"
Japan gave him a weird side-glance at Russia's questions. America shrugged.
"Maybe I actually like wearing this type of stuff. What's it to you?"
Canada was starting to get worried at his brothers voice. He knew very well that America could get upset over this, easy.
Russia was about to say something else, but he caught Canada's warning look, and refrained from it, "Nothing. Do as you wish, I suppose."
America didn't stop frowning and just took his turn. The bottle pointed towards Russia.
Canada tensed. Just when he thought they shouldn't have any reason to acknowledge each other the rest of the time. He should've figured.
America and Russia just stared at each other. One waited while the other thought carefully. America slapped his hand on the ground once an idea struck him.
"Russia, truth or dare?"
"Dare," Russia said in habit. Oh, he kind of regretted that now.
America pointed at his victim in a challenging way, "I dare you to steal something. From Japanese Empire."
Japan gasped and her ears flattened against her head as she grabbed onto America's outstretched arm.
"America," she hissed, "why would you do that?! You know my mother! She'll kill him."
"Only if he's caught," America said, looking down at Japan with a grin.
"What do I steal?," Russia questioned.
"Oh, nothing she'd miss, really. Just her prized katana~"
Everyone silenced in fear. Japanese Empire's katana was her most valued possession. She'd killed many over insignificant things(even killed those many with that katana), so stealing it was no joke.
Well, it apparently was to America.Russia frowned, "I have to return it after," he said.
"Of course. Just steal it, bring it back here, and then take it back, if you so please."
Japan, despite the fact that she didn't like Russia in the slightest, pleaded desperately not for him to do it. Russia, however, glared at America and agreed before starting for the door.
"Remember, she keeps it in a glass case above the fireplace," America called after him.
Once he was gone, America clapped his hands together.
"Well, we could continue if y'all wish. Or do you want to do something else while we wait?"
Everyone voted for something else, afraid to play the treacherous game with with America any longer.
