"What do you mean he was fucking released?! He fucking attacked me, I gave you stupid fucks video proof! And what about Gary Washington—"

"Mr. Collins, it is a complicated situation. It came down from a higher power to release Mr. Knight. We are sorry."

"A higher power?! You'll be meeting a higher power when I'm done," I screamed into the smartphone before pressing the red button to end the call.

At times like this I wished I had a flip phone so the click would be more satisfying.

I sighed to myself and rubbed the bridge of my nose in frustration. Who was powerful enough to get all the charges against Gabriel Knight dropped? His parents definitely weren't. So whom?

Whatever.

I marched to the kitchen and poured a glass of red wine. The house was empty of anyone except for me and I liked it this way. I really didn't want to spend the night with anyone.

It was fucking prom night and I refused to go to that joke of a school and it's events anymore. I'm guaranteed my scholarship, valedictorian, and enough riches to take care of myself and my family for the long run.

Finally, I was free.

I took a seat in the living room and felt a breeze tickle the hairs on the back of my neck. Turning around, I spotted an open window with a flowing breeze breaking into my house.

"When the fuck did I open that," I questioned myself out loud before getting up to shut it. After closing it, my eyes spotted something in the dark of the night.

A car. A black mustang with illegally tinted windows parked in front of my house. A frown shifted my lips as I didn't recognize the vehicle. A swift and cold shiver rolled along my back as I locked the latch. I double checked it, to make sure I wasn't losing my mind more than I already have and I was rewarded with relief. A locked window.

But that car sitting in front of my fucking house irritated me to no end. Even though there's no law against curbside parking in this neighborhood, it was still in front of my fucking house. After debating with myself for a minute, I decided on going out and telling the delinquent owner to move his fucking trash.

The night was quiet, and there wasn't a single soul on the street. It made this situation a lot more dangerous, and it honestly excited me. A random car parked suspiciously in front of Kyle Collins' residence. A coincidence?

I wouldn't think so.

I walked meticulously up to the car and peered in its tinted windows. No one was inside, but I can tell the car was recently parked here. The hood was still warm.

I looked around to see if I saw anyone, and of course I didn't. I had it set in my mind that someone had shown up to fuck with me. A hearty laugh escaped my lips as I come to the realization that maybe this was going to be fun.

Thinking on my feet, I pulled the set of keys out of my pocket and started to write scratches on the side of the car. I know I don't really condone vandalism, but this was too much of a fun opportunity to pass up. And after every letter I wrote in the keying, my blood boiled.

COME GET ME.

I walked back into my house, proud of my artwork. Now, I started searching for signs of an intruder. I've seen how situations like this play out. It happened to Gabriel Knight, Evan Simms, and me a few years ago with Gary Washington and his fucking trashy friends

Then it was three against two. Now? It was one versus one.

"Come out, come out wherever you are," I called out to my unwelcomed visitor. It didn't matter who it was, I just wanted them to realize they picked the wrong man to fuck with. I'm Kyle fucking Collins and I'll get rid of anyone trying to fuck with me.
