He did it. Liam really fucking did it! He got Kyle Collins to back off and I don't know how, but the video disappeared off the internet like it never even existed! Sure it took a couple of weeks and so many people saw it, but it's gone.
And everything had finally calmed down.
I was sitting at a lunch table with Liam, Holly, and Bridge eating a salad, listening to the conversations they were having. It was like their lives were going back to normal as well because they were talking about prom this weekend.
"What about you guys," my mind zoned in on Bridgette's question, "What are you guys wearing to prom?"
"We haven't had time to talk about prom, we've been so busy," Liam answered for us, chuckling hesitantly at them.
He was right. We were so busy fighting for our freedom to love each other that prom was the last thing on our minds. Literally, the most beautiful fucking night of our high school lives and we were going to miss it.
"Well, you have no excuses now. It's time for you boys to go out and look for matching tuxedos or something because prom is this FUCKING weekend and you better be there!"
Holly laughed heartily at Bridgette's declaration, but agreed wholeheartedly, "She's right. It's kind of a requirement for you guys to go."
"Well," Liam started, unsure about what to say. I found his brown eyes glancing up at me curiously, and a smirk found its way on my face.
"I think we're going shopping after school, if you want to."
"Psh, no. I can't afford a new tuxedo. I'll just wear a polo and khakis."
"Don't you worry about that," I reassured him, really not wanting him to show up as my date wearing a collared shirt and tan pants, "I'm buying."
"Must be nice having a rich boyfriend," Holly snickered mischievously before catching the second meaning behind her phrase, "Well... second rich boyfriend."
"You think Kyle's coming to prom?"
"Of course," Bridgette responded to Liam's question nonchalantly, "He wouldn't pass up the chance to fuck up what's going to be the most beautiful night for us."
"I don't know. Liam said he was pretty much done with harassing us. I think we might be fine," I voiced my opinion with a strong backing.
The girls weren't too sure, but my confidence was unshakable. I believe Liam got through to him and was able to get him to leave us alone. It'll all be okay at the end of the day.

"Nine hundred dollars for a tuxedo? Are you fucking kidding me? Who do you guys think you are charging almost a thousand dollars for a set? This isn't the Neiman Marcus boutique!"
I stood in the background of the formal wear shop listening to Liam scold the proprietors of the store over their prices. It was the funniest thing to watch, seeing him get all worked up. The best part was that he wasn't even going to pay for anything!
I walked up to the salesman who was losing the battle and gave him a small smile in reassurance, "Don't worry about it, guy. I'll take him from here."
He bowed and rushed to help the nearest customer to him. He left Liam in pure agony, as he ogled the price tag.
"You want it?"
"For this price? Hell no," Liam responded, standing before a traditional black and white three piece. He turned to face me, ignoring any more of the selection around him, "Can't we just keep it casual? No expensive clothes. Just a nice outfit, something that matches? And that's it."
