I watched Evan pace back and forth in front of me. I sighed and leaned back on my couch, periodically chuckling at him when he peered out of my home's peephole. He swore up a storm and I couldn't help but to ask, "What's got you so antsy?"

"Where is he?! It's already five o'clock!"

"Calm down. He's on his way," I said, standing up and grabbing Evan's shoulders, "now sit down before you pace a hole into the floor!"

He growled at me and sat down on the couch. I took a seat next to him and turned on the TV.

I began flipping through the channels and saw nothing good was on. I switched the TV to 'input mode' and asked, "You want to watch a movie while we wait?"

"Yeah, what you got?" I pulled up all the available movies Netflix had for us that we enjoyed. Almost going through one hundred movies, we decided on "Mean Girls", the best high school movie ever created. Well, it was the movie that established our friendship, but that was another story.

About twenty minutes into the movie, my doorbell went off and Margaret answered it, "Hello, young man. May I help you?"

"Yeah, I'm looking for Knight and Simms."

"Margaret," I called, "you can let him in."

Kyle stepped in the door and nodded politely at Margaret. He walked over to Evan and me sitting at the couch and looked down at us, "Sorry for not being here sooner. I got sidetracked at Benson Circle."

"It's no problem, we were just watching a movie. Take a seat," I said, scooting closer to Evan and letting Kyle sit next to me, "We were on the part where Cady tells Karen and Gretchen about liking Aaron Samuels."

He nodded and looked at Evan smiling, "Hello, Simms."

Evan grunted in response, but kept his eyes on the screen. This was obviously driving a wedge in our friendship, and sooner or later, Evan is going to confront Kyle about what he saw, and it won't be pretty. Someone is going to end up bloody, and someone is going to end up in a detention center.

Margaret walked into the living room with a tray of ice cold lemonade in glass cups, "I figured you boys would be thirsty, so I brought some sweet lemonade for you to enjoy."

"Thank you," we all thanked her and took a glass before watching her return to the kitchen.

The silence was menacing. The only sound audible was the television, making the dialogue between Cady, Janice, and Damien. I rolled my eyes before pausing the movie, "Okay. Let's talk."

Evan frowned, "Hey Gabe. Don't you think the actress that plays Janice Ian is hot?"

I shrugged and drank a little of my lemonade, "Yeah. She's really pretty."

He leaned over to look at Kyle, "What about you? Don't you think she's hot? Don't you wanna fuck her? I mean, fuck the Hell out of her?!"

Kyle chuckled, looking at the screen that was paused on her, "She certainly is a delectable gal."

His eyes squinted and he sat back on the sofa, "Oh, yeah? Whatever. Gabriel knows what he's talking about though. She is a total babe!"

"Yeah," I chirped, nudging on Kyle's arm. When Evan wasn't looking, I whispered to him, "Don't listen to Evan. He's becoming senile."

Kyle snickered behind his hand and gazed at me in my eyes. Why does he do that? Why does he captivate me with those green eyes of his? Why does he get me hypnotized like that?! This... this can't be just a fucking mancrush. I need to get Kyle alone tonight so I can ask him about this. The look in his eyes, says he feels it too.
