I was most definitely surprised this morning when Kyle offered to take me out this morning. I didn't even know he knew my birthday was this Saturday! How did he find out? Must've been Holly, or Bridgette. Either way, I was really grateful that he wanted to do something for me! But did it have to be so early in the morning, as in seven-thirty in the morning?!

"What's wrong," Kyle had asked me. I guess my thoughts were showing themselves on my face.

I shook my head and smiled sweetly at him, "Nothing. I was just confused. Wondering why you wanted us to do something so early in the morning."

"I wanted to be the first one you see when you turned eighteen," he slurred. The things he say to me sometimes just sound too good to be true. But I know they're true, because it's Kyle. Mr. Right. My Mr. Right, "Is that a viable excuse?"

I nodded, taking Kyle's hand and interlacing our fingers, "You're sweet, you know that?"

I caught that beautiful smile on his face. Kyle... is just everything I ever wanted in a man. Smart, handsome, bold, and holds a gentle heart. I feel like, when I'm with him, I could do any and everything possible. He spoke to me, "Only for you."

The car stopped at a red light and I took the liberty to lean over and kiss him deeply. I felt him kiss back, and one of his arm trail behind me, pulling my body in closer. We left reality for a minute and entered nirvana. Every time we kiss, I feel a piece of me leaving my body and going to him.

I don't usually believe in this kind of nonsense, but I think Kyle is my soul mate...

A horn made us break our kiss and regain our composures. The light in front of us was already green, and Kyle started driving again. He looked at me while driving a little bit slower, "Hey, let's pull over somewhere."

"Where?"

"I know just the place," he smirked, making a sharp right turn onto a private road. He drove down it a little bit until we came to a fork at the very end of the street.

Left would've taken us to a small rest place for people traveling outside of Los Angeles, but we went right. To Lake Kissable.

I have never heard of Lake Kissable, so I asked Kyle about it, "What's Lake Kissable?"

"It's a special place my parents used to go to get away from the big city. There's a small log cabin with a fireplace, and there's this gorgeous lake that reflects the sun beautifully. And since it's still early, you'll see how pretty it is during sunrise."

The image of it popped into my head and I was ecstatic! I couldn't wait to be there with Kyle! With Kyle... alone with Kyle. By ourselves. Isolated from the big city. Away from everyone. Lovely...

We drove into the Lake Kissable area, and Kyle parked the car next to the lake. We got out and I looked over the beautiful scenery. He was right, it was breathtaking!

The sun made the water a mixture of light blue and faded black, with remnants of stars speckled everywhere. I was starting to get emotional, until Kyle came over and held my hand, "C'mon. Let's go in the cabin."

Kyle led me inside, and it was most definitely homey. He took the opportunity to light the fireplace, and spread the fluffy area rug in front of it. He kicked his black combat boots off and sat on the rug, looking up at me, "Care to join me?"

I kicked off my black Converse and crawled into his arms, feeling the fire hitting our faces, "Thanks for bringing me out here."

"You're welcome. I wanted you to experience something special on your birthday."
