first of all... THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH for 1.4 k views on this story! it's so awesome, i'm really happy :DDD

I felt like writing something sad, so beware this is pretty angsty and if you don't dig that then you can read something else hehe

you've probably read something similar to this, I take a lot of inspiration from fanfics I've read :D

Shredder sat on his throne, thinking of ways to torture that damned rat he once called a brother. He had successfully managed to capture Splinter and his 4 mutant freaks, and they were all laying on the floor beneath him, still passed out from the injection he gave them earlier. Their limbs were tied up with chains even the ninjutsu master himself couldn't break out of.

Tigerclaw and Rahzar were also present, ready to jump in at any second if things were to go... south. Baxter was close by aswell, but in another room.

Shredder glanced quickly at a huge clock hanging off the wall. His underlings shivered every time he turned their way.

"Tigerclaw." he growled. The tiger stiffened, but didn't let his voice waver when he spoke.

"Yes, master shredder?" he asked.

"How long did that damned failed scientist say it was going to take before they all woke up?" he questioned in that deep, intimidating voice of his. Tigerclaw avoided eye contact like his life depended on it, and knowing shredder, it probably was.

The gun wielding tiger cleared his throat before answering. "He said it was only going to last about an hour, master shredder. They'll wake in a few minutes, if I'm not mistaken."

Oh god how he wished he wasn't mistaken.

Shredder only gave a grunt as an answer, confirming he had heard what Tigerclaw had said.

He once again looked out on the figures laying sprawled across the floor, studying all 6 of them. Yes, 6. Karai was laying beside Splinter, to his left. Splinter had Leonardo to his right, and the other 3 turtles were to Leonardo's right.

Shredder didn't feel the same resentment towards Karai as he did for the others, especially Splinter, but he didn't feel for her anymore. He used to call her his daughter, he was proud to be her father. But of course those damned deformed turtles had to ruin her, leaving her to believe them that Splinter was in fact her father.

He shook his head thinking about it. Karai was nothing but a puppet to him now, someone to manipulate and use to get his way.

Finally, after what seemed like several hours, his hostages were stirring and waking up. 'Now the real fun begins' shredder thought, and put on his Kuro Kabuto.

The first one to speak was Raphael, who groaned and complained about the pain in his arms and feet. "What the hell.. what happened?" he asked the others, before noticing the chains.

Donatello shrieked, and Michelangelo soon joined him as they felt the huge chains weigh their limbs down.

Leonardo opened and shut his mouth like a fish, trying to think of something say but no noise came out.

Karai was completely silent, already suspecting where this was going. She had her gaze down, not daring to accidentally lock eyes with her former 'father'.

Then there was Splinter, who also hadn't said anything yet, but one look into his eyes and you could see how he was utterly devastated. He had failed his sons and daughter and gotten them trapped, and now they were in their worst enemy's lair.
