Donatello quickly scribbled something on a crumbled piece of paper he had found. He was in Baxter's lab, forced to work almost at all times. If he ever dared to disobey he would get shocked with a stun gun, or have his wrists and ankles cut. Just enough for him to say alive, but wish desperately for the sweet release of death.

'Help, trapped, need help immediately' was scribbled down on the piece of paper. He didn't have time to write down anything more before Baxter came into the room. Donatello hurriedly placed the paper in his belt, and pretended to work on something.

It had now been 2 weeks since they got captured, and the 2 week anniversary of their beloved brothers' deaths.

Donatello slept, ate and worked in the lab. The only time he was allowed outside it was when he needed to use the restroom, or if Shredder had deemed his work to be good and allowed him to see the surviving part of his family.

Donatello was incredibly tired, the circles under his eyes darker than they had ever been home at the lair. He had gotten slightly slimmer and he still had some bandages on from the last time he got cut, but other than that he looked about the same.

Raphael had gotten even more buff, if that was even possible. His gear had been given an upgrade, and his old red mask was tossed. He now sported a black mask that covered his whole forehead, his belt and his bandages had also changed to pitch black. He wore customized knuckle dusters all of the time, and he was constantly on edge. His eyes lost all life, he was just a shadow of the Raphael they all knew before and loved.

He had been put through intense training, starting with foot soldiers and then moving on to bigger opponents, such as Rahzar and Tigerclaw. Raphael now had a permanent scar over his left eye, a reminder of the last time he lost a duel to Tigerclaw.

Donatello was't allowed to train anymore, and he barely got to see his brother do it. He only sat down all day, occasionally walking over to Baxter's station to help him with some mech. His back hurt terribly, and he was already noticing how he got tired a lot faster. It killed him on the inside, but he didn't dare to even whisper it. Shredder was always watching.

Karai had been put in a cell, but she was treated fairly well. She got the food she wished for most nights, even though she never felt like eating at all. Shredder offered to start training her again, but the refused.

She had been offered her former room back, but when she spit at Shredders feet he got mad and tossed her in the cell. Even if she had everything she could wish for in that cell, she still couldn't crack a smile. Not even a fake one.

Because, right next to hers, was Splinter's cell. And he definitely didn't get everything he wanted.

Being Shredder's wort enemy, Splinter went through the most insane kinds of torture. It was a miracle he was still alive. Whether it being cut on all parts of his body, his bones being broken or even waterboarding, he still stayed strong and lived on. Not for himself, oh no, if it was up to him he would have already been dead. He stayed alive because of his children- He had already lost 2 of them, and he hated himself for it, but the ones who still remained counted on him to be strong.

'One day,' he thought every night before going to sleep. 'One day, we're going to get out of here. We'll avenge Leonardo and Michelangelo, and we'll live on.'

If only that day would come.

It had now been a whole month since they got captured.
