Unrequited love (Apritello, Casey x April)

Sorry i kinda forgot about this book but anyway here's an update! This is going to be angsty.

Donnie's POV

I sighed once again, i can't stop thinking about April. I love everything about her, from her cute freckles to her cool personality.

I had always hoped we could have a chance, i was so naive. How could a freak like myself ever have a chance with someone as beautiful as April?

My brothers had warned me many times, that "maybe i should just give up on her", but i never knew i would be this heartbroken.

I keep thinking about that night, when my heart got crushed into a million pieces.

No one's POV (flashback)

The four turtles were on a roll again, they had just beat some purple dragons and were about to head home. Everything was great at the moment.

The jumped on the roof tops and challenged each other, but Donnie stopped when they neared the park April studied in.

'The other guys won't notice if i stay there for a little bit with her, right?' He thought and went off.

When he reached the park he quickly hid behind a corner when he heard a voice that belonged to no other than Casey Jones.

Donnie frowned, ofcourse it had to be him.
But his frowned quickly deepend when he heard April giggle at something Casey had said.

'What could he have said that was so funny? he thought and moved closer, but made sure he couldn't be seen by the two humans.

But nothing could have prepared him for what he was about to see.

Casey moved closer to April, but she didn't move away, in fact she sat even closer.
They linked their hands together and kissed, and it wasn't just a sweet peck, mind you, it was real on makeout session.

Donnie could only watch in horror as the kiss escalated and he swore he could almost hear his heart shattering.

He turned away and ran as fast as he could, away from April, away from his brothers, away from his own thoughts.

Leo's POV (back to present)

I'm worried for Donnie, he hasn't come out to eat and i'm pretty sure he hasn't been sleeping.

Whatever happened to Donnie 2 days ago seems to have hurt him deeply. I can only watch as he destroys himself more and more everyday, but he won't tell anyone what's bothering him. Not even master Splinter.

I fear the worst.
