Ink gripped his skull, sitting up in his bed while tears ran down his face.
For some reason, Error appeared in his mind, all happy and laughing with the villains, while Ink stood in the background, breaking silently.
Why is life so fucking hard for the good guys?!
In the fairytales, the villains always are laughing and chasing the person, which is fun for them, while the person is running away, dealing with all the twigs and sticks... They can never be safe again...
Ink is the creator. His job is to stop Error from destroying the AU's and to keep balance in the multiverse. He doesn't want to keep doing that for the rest of his life, but it's his job.
Error destroys universes for fun...
And Ink's always the one to get hurt...
What is it worth?
The happiness of others who don't know him? Who will never understand the risk that he's being put through?
It's not fair...
but it's his job to look happy...
Some would say...
It's in the script.
Beknowing to Ink, Error was walking next to his door and heard the crying.
Huh? is he... crying? Error thought to himself, quietly opening the door and stepping in, immediately freezing seeing Ink hugging his knees and sobbing hysterically, whispering 'It's not fair... It's not fair..." Over and over again. Error walked next to Ink and even surprised himself when he hugged his worst enemy.
Ink visibly stiffened, not knowing who was hugging him.
It could have been Nightmare for all he knew.
but Nightmare hates everything, he wouldn't even go near Ink. The skeleton tensed even more into the hug when he heard who it was, "Shh... 1t's 0k@y..."Error said, rubbing circles around Ink's back.
Through the passage of time, Ink relaxed and hugged Error, who tensed.
He didn't reboot though.
He couldn't do it when Ink was like this...
He felt pity for the skeleton...
Soon the crying went down to whimpers, and Error could feel Ink lean into him...
He was asleep.
"Y0u @r3 r3@lly fr@g1l3, Squ1d." He murmured to the sleeping skeleton, smiling.
When he tried to get up, Ink whined and grabbed onto Error's scarf, dragging him down to a laying position like Ink is in.
"1-1nk.. l-l3t m3 g-g0..." Error mumbled, trying to get away from the awkward situation he was in.
Ink just hugged Error like he was a huge teddy bear and murmured something about bananas.
Error sighed and closed his eyes, giving up to the fact that he couldn't escape this.

Dust sighed, looking around him and then slipping into a portal, landing in Blue's room with a soft 'thump'. Every day since he found out about Blue's little... thing he's been coming every day at the same time to visit Blue.
This time, however, was different from the others.
Blue was not in the room.
He was not in the bathroom, because Dust knocked and Blue didn't respond...
"Maybe he's just... caught up in something?" Dust asked himself, walking away from the bathroom and sitting on the bed for a good 10 minutes...
Blue didn't show up.
Dust frowned, getting worried about his friend.
If someone hurt him...
Suddenly, he heard a little...
noise from the bathroom.
Dust shot up and ran to the bathroom, putting his 'ear' close to the door and frowning.
He heard coughing. It sounded like the thing was-
"BLUE!" He yelled, trying to open the door.
It was locked.
"BLUE OPEN THE DOOR!" Dust yelled, clearly stressed.
It was still locked.
Dust growled, ramming to the door with his shoulder.
Although his shoulder hurt like a son of a bitch, the door opened and he saw Blue, bleeding heavily from his chest.
Not sparing any time, Dust picked blue up and kicked the door down to his room and sprinted down the hall, glancing at an almost unconscious Blue. "HEY DON'T FALL ASLEEP ON ME!" Dust yelled, jumping down a flight of stairs and ran to Dream, who was startled. "HEAL HIM, GODDAMNIT!" Dust yelled, showing Dream the small skeleton who was fighting to stay awake.
Dream laid blue on the couch and stuck out his hands, emitting a large green glow from his hands.
The blood seeping from Blue was slowly starting to dry, not like Geno who is always bleeding.
Upon inspection, Dust found something.
It was a sharp piece of a mirror shard.
Something or someone stabbed Blue.
Or...
He stabbed himself.
That thought never made him doubt it. He knew blue...
And what he would do.
