(SAD CHAPTER! WARNING)
Geno sighed, ascending the staircase that leads to the only balcony the villain sanses had in the whole castle.
Geno's poor soul has been through to much, and only 1/9 of it still exists... He's fed up with being determined and waiting for his prince charming to come along...
You can't save something that can't be saved.
It's quite funny if you think about it.
Geno turned a corner...
This would be the last time the haunting memory of his Papyrus would haunt his dreams, the last time he would cry, the last time...
He stopped at the balcony door.
"Do I want to do this?" He asked himself, staring out of the darkened glass with hesitation.
This could end his life...
He opened the door and the familiar smell of fresh air hit his face like a wall.
"Geno? What are you doing here?" Came from the edge of the balcony, where Reaper was sitting. "I need to tell you something," Geno admitted, taking a hesitant step forward.
"Are you finally ready to admit your undying feelings for me?" He jokingly asked, patting the spot next to him.
Geno sat down, legs handing down probably a few hundred feet from the ground.
He would surely die if he fell.
"So? Ge-" Reaper saw that Geno was looking down.
"Let's go inside..." The god of death recommended, worried about his friend.
Geno looked at the ground and smiled. "How 'bout I just..." He scooted closer to the edge.
"GENO!" Reaper leaped forward, a second too late.
Geno slipped off the edge, already barreling to the ground.
Geno's main idea was to get help from Reaper, but this seems more appropriate.
Reaper jumped over the edge and raced to catch up to Geno, who was smiling. his eyes were shut closed, ready for the darkness to surround him at last.
200 feet...
COME ON REAPER!
100 feet
ALMOST GOT HIM!
50 feet
No...
10 feet
he won-
Reaper grasped the other's leg and pulled him up, frightened of the ground at that moment.
The god of death, who had reaped countless people, would not allow anyone, not even himself, to reap this poor 1/9th of a soul.
Geno has been through so much...
"Reaper?!" Geno looked up at the crying skeleton.
Reaper just lowered Geno to the ground and hugged him tightly, like he was going to die at any second.
"DON'T EVER DO THAT YOU IDIOT!" Reaper screamed, crying hysterically and clutching onto Geno.
Geno stared at awe about how much Reaper cared.
Geno hugged the skeleton back, whispering, "Sorry-" Over and over again...
(HEHEHE NOPE GENO'S NOT DYING YET)
