Chapter 27

Roni's POV

Roni looked over her shoulder when she saw Honey get up. They had a sleepover again.

Nakasuot ito ng nightgown na halos see through kagaya ng una nilang sleep over. But this time, sanay na ata si Roni. But she still looked away from thoses 'assets' as a respect for her bestfriend.

Mas madalas na siyang nasa condo ni Honey para samahan ito. Lalo pa at wala naman silang probable cause at evidence regarding sa home invasion sa condo ng kaibigan. There was no suspect and after the investigation. Wala namang makasuhang tao, so the case was dropped. Kahit tinanong din si Honey tungkol dun ay hindi nito matukoy ang mga suspect dahil nag barricade agad ito sa kwarto nito, bago pa makita ang mukha ng mga suspect. But Honey was sure that the gang who invaded her home are males dahil na rin sa boses ng mga ito.

But what intrigues her ay hindi din mabosesan ng kaibigan ang mga suspect. Ilang beses na tinanong si Honey kung pamilyar ang kaibigan sa boses ng mga ito pero hindi daw nito masyadong naulinigan dahil kasabay ng mga boses ay ang pag babasag ng mga ito ng kung ano sa condo niya.

"Anong breakfast, Laude?"

"J-Just bacon, hotdogs and fried rice." Parang napaso na umalis siya sa counter ng idikit nito ang harap nhg dibdib sa likod niya to peer on what she's doing.

Nakita nito ang reaksiyon niya and Honey started laughing. Humawak pa ito sa tiyan nito.

"Ang OA ng reaksiyon mo bestfriend. Bakit wala ka ba nito?"

Itinuro pa talaga nito ang dibdib nito. Roni immediately looked away ng madako ang mata niya sa nakatayong korona nito sa dibdib. Bigla siyang pinag pawisan.

"M-Meron, but you know that I like girls too di ba? Why are you flaunting that in front of me?"

"Because I'm harmless. Di ka mag kakagusto sakin, di ba?" Umupo ito sa lamesa at nag hain ng pagkain sa plato nito. "Kasi kung may gusto ka sakin. I'm sure aamin ka kaagad. Or you will try to take advantage of the way I am flaunting myself at you."

Roni looked at Honey's facial expression and she realized that maybe totoo nga ang sinasabi ni Hanna at ni Tori sa kanya. Honey likes her?

"H-Honey I----"

Hindi niya na natapos ang sasabihin niya ng may kumatok sa labas ng pintuan ng condo ni Honey.

They both looked in the door's direction then at each other.

Roni put the ladle on the kitchen counter and went straight to the door. Thankful that she was spared from saying anything to Honey.

Sinundan siya ng kaibigan sa tapat ng pintuan.

Roni opened it. Parehas kumunot ang noo nila ni Honey ng makita ang isang matangkad at magandang pulis sa harap nila.

"Hi. Is this Honey Delavega's condo unit?" Ngumiti ito.

"Y-Yes. A-Ano po bang k-kaso ko?" Honey uttered staring intently at the policewoman.

Then her bestfriend must have realized that she was wearing a flimsy night gown. Umalis muna ito sa harap nila at bumalik na iba na ang suot. Naka white shirt ito at jogging pants na black nang muling humarap sa pulis.

"Kaso agad? I'm here to investigate something. Don't worry if there's no probable cause. I won't be bothering you."

"Do you have a search warrant?" Roni took a step forward. "Are you here for the investigation regarding the home invasion, Honey was involved in?"

"Actually...." Kinamot nito ang sentido nito. "I'm here for a case filed by Clio De Luna Richards."

Roni stopped for a moment and looked at the police woman. So, Tori had contacted the police as they promised to do. Akala niya ay hindi na nito itutuloy ang pag papa-imbestiga dahil 3 weeks na din naman ang lumipas at hindi na ito tutuloy dahil hindi siya kasama.
