"ABO, sigurado ka ba na kaya 'mong mag-biyahe na naka-supot yang braso mo 'ha?" Anpa ask me.

Today's the day that i'm finally going back to the Philippines. I'm not nervous at all but, some strange feelings started to aroused earlier when i'm taking a bath.

"Yes, Anpa. You don't need to be that paranoid."
Anpa began to be paranoid about me after he saw me with this cast on my arm.

Flashback

I can't carry it because of this thing that the nurse inserted on my arm.

I was about to climb upstairs when,

"Abo, is your examination done?" Anpa suddenly pop up out of nowhere.

"Nah, it'll start tomorrow." i face him as i reply.

I was about to turn my back when he notice the blue thing in my arm.

"Is that a cast on your arm?"

"If that's what it called, then yes."

"Anak ng- what happened to you? Are you okay? Does it hurt? Tell-" Anpa suddenly rush towards me and check me, but before he can finish his over reacting, i cut him off.

"Im fine, Anpa. I just accidentally mis-balance the motorcycle while driving home and yeah, my arm is now fractured."  Another lies again, Ash.

"You sure, it doesn't hurt anymore? I can call our resident doctor to personally check you."

"Nah-uh. I'm really fine Anpa."

Well, I'm kinda guilty for feeding him lies but, i don't have any choice. He doesn't know about the existence of the Black Cards and Queen; and he don't need to know, after all.

"Ah, Anpa?"

"Oh ano 'yon? Nagbago na ba ang isip mo? Hindi ka na muna uuwi ng Pilipinas? Magpapagaling kana muna?" i can't help it but to roll my eyes because of Anpa. Here comes my advance-thinker grandfather.

"*sighs* Anpa, nothing can change my mind right now." I really can't understand this old man. Last week, he's eager to send me to Philippines, but now? Ugh!

"Abo apo, iniisip ko lang naman ang kalagayan mo. Bali yang braso mo, paano kung lumalala o di nama'y nadagdagan ang bali kapag bumyahe ka? Anpa is just worried, iha." He's really over thinking about my fractured arm; shoulder i mean.

"Anpa, it's not 'bali'. It's fracture, Anpa. Fracture."

"Kahit na. Sa bali na ang papunta niyan eh."

"You're advance mag-isip, Anpa." naiiling na sabi ko at pumasok na sa kotse.

Gusto ni Anpa na ihatid ako sa airport para 'daw' masiguro ang ka-, kalia-- what was the term again? Kalisaan? Ugh. Whatever.

"Can we first go to the cemetery, Anpa?" I ask when the car start to move.

"Giving a farewell to him?"

I just answer him with a little twitch of lips.

"Sort of."

"Ah, i see. Temyong, daan muna tayo sa sementeryo bago tumuloy sa airport."

As Anpa give instruction to the driver, i rested my chin in the cars window. I saw different individuals whose enjoying the spring season. There's many families whose having a picnic, eating together, laughing and chit-chatting to each other. Many kids whose playing around. And of course, many couples whose enjoying each others' company. Laughing, exchanging hugs and kisses, eating together, and wearing a couple shirt.
