Kodiak and Amber fell asleep on Lucky while the journey kept going on with Donnie leading the way with Stamina. Osa found this a great opportunity to speak to him and hopefully learn more about his past. "So, you're protective of me?" She asked him nervously.
Donatello felt the sweat stick inside his mask, he wishes he could breathe and tell her. He's just not ready. "For all of you."
Osa nods slowly. "Well, you're not what I expected." She says softly. "Amber and Kodi said you're very strict and demanding."
"Sounds like me," Don says lowly as a small snippet of his past flashes inside his head. It was terrible... "That was a long time ago, though," He replied.
"Were you always the way you are?" She asked, hoping that he would give her an honest answer.
Donnie shrugged, loosening the reins on his horse. "I was never 'Rep'. I let the world change me into something. It was so I could survive."
"So 'Rep' is... temporary?"
He nodded, not looking at her. "Yes. I went through a lot... things that you wouldn't believe. Then, I found the twins-- took pity on them because--" He stopped. Donnie didn't want to finish the sentence because he'd give himself away. He took care of the twins because they reminded him of Osa. They were like a substitute for her.
Osita waited for him to answer. "Because...?"
Don bit his lip and shook his head. "C-Could we talk about something else?"
Osa felt bad now. She didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable or embarrassed if that's what he was feeling. So she thought of something that is better than the subject they went with the first time. "Um... What are you sorry about?"
"What?" He glanced at her quickly.
Osa heard Donnie talking in his sleep last night and didn't want to say anything but this is the only thing she wanted to ask. "You talk in your sleep. It's common nowadays."
"Oh..." He swallowed his fright. "E-Everything I did. To people, to myself, and my family."
"Do you wish you could go back and fix it? Start over?"
"All the time... But it's in the past. No do-overs." It sucks so much for Donnie to be hiding behind a mask. Literally. He wants to tell Osa about him but can't even find the words. Even how smart he is, he can't give himself away yet. If he does now, he might lose her again. He needed to find the right moment. "You're very curious, O."
That caught her attention. "O?"
"I meant Osa. Sorry."
"The family that I traveled with used to call me that." She grinned.
Donnie chuckles. "Really? Huh..."
She still has no idea. She confirmed Donnie was dead a long time ago and won't ever get the slightest clue because she believes what she believes. That he is dead. Osa doesn't realize that she's getting to know Donnie all over again, just in a completely different way.

Leonardo and Criss settled down in the tent because the day was coming to an end. Everyone got into their tents, calmed down, and slept in their cots next to their roommates. The leader in his now black mask took off his bionic arm so he can be more comfortable during his sleep tonight. He set the arm on a table that was set up in his tent and looks at Criss behind him getting ready for bed. Casey and Faith were already sound asleep in their cots, snoring up a storm. "Are you okay?" He asked Criss.
