What's happening? There is so much smoke trailing into the sky, fire cracked and popped, and the constant gunfire echoed for miles. Bullets were flying past people. hitting objects or actually penetrating someone to kill them.

Leo cried out to whoever was nearby. "Get out of here! Go!"

Criss, Shado, and Regan shielded one another.

One mutant roared angrily as she set her hands on a man's neck and sent her electrical ability through his body. It radiated his brain, lighting up his face and burning his surface.

Another mutant stopped three men from running, using gravity control. Then men levitate from the ground and instantly were attacked by Amber, Osa, and Faith in their animal forms. Faith a dire fox, Osa a bear, and Amber a white tiger.

Bendova men sliced throats, stabbed women, and brutally punched anyone incapable of defending themselves.

Osa and the two other shifters at her side roared and growled. They were blindsided when a cluster of bullets darted their ribs, causing them all to cry out in pain and tumble to the ground. Donnie yelled out when he saw the three of them lose their battle.

Leonardo sobbed when he saw Criss, Shado, and Regan retreat for better cover, but got caught. He went crazy when the girl's throats were slit by Sam and his men.

Vincent, Patience, Maddy, Kitty, Harlow, and Clementine ran from the area.

Ranger, Duke, Raph, and Zayn are stabbed and shot at when they weren't careful enough in the fight. Leo turned to look at a building tumbling down to the ground as it killed more of his family nearby. Then fire blew out from every direction.

Screams, yells, and pain didn't end. The last thing Leo heard was Sam laughing with April at his side. "NO!!"

Leonardo sat straight up in his cot with Criss waking up, too. For some reason, he felt the need to get up and peek outside of his tent. When he did, he saw his brothers and friends peek from their tents... They all had an identical nightmare at the haunting hour and were stunned at the replays in their heads. Leo's family sighed in relief and they went back to bed until the morning.

Today could be the last day to gather supplies... It's a good thing none of the things EdgePort finds will be for Sam because it will all belong to Leonardo and his people.

Leo talked to everyone who was going out to get supplies. He had new mutants go with North Group because they are short on a few people. Donnie has an injury, Charlie is dead, and Riley needed time to himself. Leo told them to take their time, don't rush, and come home when they thought it was convenient.

Everyone was ready for sundown because that is probably when Sam will come to get his 'supplies'. Really, it is just him getting an ass whooping by this place. So many people were on edge because this is the day the mad man and his goons return for more "fun". And don't forget the death on the side.

Kids were stressing over this, women did their best to soothe them and take their minds off it. Children under the age of ten shouldn't have to stress over something like this. They should be stressing over homework!

To make things a little more intimidating, there had been two suicides in the afternoon because they didn't want to face Sam or the war.

While Leo's brothers were occupied with groups or resting up, he went back to his tent to check up on Criss. She was clacking a gun and loading it with some clean, glorious bullets to put inside the chamber. "Hey," He said. "What are you up to?"
