Two days have gone by and during those 48 hours, Leonardo did what he could to be of help when it came to the classes. Things have also seemed to calm down but there has not been much excitement.

Raphael still won't look at Donnie since he'd gone awol with the infected in the community. Deep down, Raph knew Don couldn't help it. It was either be Donnie throughout the whole attack and cower, or bring out the killer within him so he can live another day. Kitty even tried talking some sense into Raph in hopes to help him understand his brother's mental issues.

To keep things going, Michelangelo and Shado kept up on the garden every day to make sure uninvited guests didn't show up in the soil. Sometimes small weeds peeked out of the moist earthy material and would nearly kill the seedlings of the vegetables.

Regan cleaned and polished up her sniper rifle and ensured her knife was sharpened to a fine point. Her hair drooped in front of her eyes, noticing the shades of dull blue are fading away and losing their pigment. She forgot her hair even had a dash of the rainbow in it. As she cleaned her belongings, Regan remembers that Osa is one of the most important mutants because she can become whatever animal she pleases. Reg knows that she might be a great help with this whole Sam situation.

That crude man was scheduled to be arriving back at EdgePort to pick up his supplies pretty soon. In about three to four weeks he's to be there and that didn't give anyone a lot of time. The time everyone has now is about ten to fifteen days.

Later in the day, Duke and Vincent made up about their little argument and it is a huge relief that they are taking time to sort through their problems. Vincent admitted she was wrong and apologized to her boyfriend for blaming him for something he couldn't help. Duke just wishes for Vv to not be so angry at April because she is only doing her job in trying to keep this place safe. But Vv is still going to disagree about letting April keep working Osa like she is a mule.

Speaking of that stubborn shapeshifter-- Osa was woken up early by Amber so they could get to work for April. In order to not anger the snooty woman, Osa did what she was commanded to keep her community leader happy.

Today on the agenda, the shifters had no idea that they would be working in the heat as draft horses. They were instantly hooked up to chains that are able to dig into tough skin if the correct amount of pressure was applied to their aching muscles. Whatever wood they were hauling, the weight is off the scales, breaking the springs and gears.

After Osa and Amber went out on a run with April and a few other men, they were returning home to the community with thousands of pounds of tree trunks to repair the weak spot. April's men hooked the original six horses up and had the two shapeshifters lead the way into EdgePort.

Osa hated this job now that she s working ten times harder than before. Her shoulders ached as she felt the rusted chains rub deeper into her skin. Both she and Amber's legs lost more and more of their center of gravity from the haul. Osa didn't understand why she and Amber needed to help bring in a massive tree trunk for one weak spot. As a bay draft horse with thick mane and large hooves, April came up to her long face and placed her hand on Osa's soft squishy muzzle. "Don't slow us down." She said, unhappy with their effort.

Osa moved her face away from April's hand. "When can we quit today, April? This is difficult. Even for shifters." The horse snorted at her.

April was about to continue ahead to make sure the transportation of the trunk would make it without any issues. But she turned back to the snappy horse. "Yeah, well, you both can stick around for a while."
