So many people refused to give up their things and the only thing they got in return was a sock to the face or a few good hits to their ribs. Tents were raided, stripped clean of things that were necessary for the apocalypse and they were robbed of their owners.
The two military trucks that were provided for April and Leo by Sam are still parked in EdgePort and Sam sighed deeply as people were coming to bring him the robbed items. When Duke brought up his box of belongings he hated to give up, Sam leaned down and whispered into his ear. "Congratulations, boy." He said. Duke gulped, nodded, and walked away from the rival.
Many moments had gone by and most people gave up their items-- guns, health kits, or food. And laying next to Nate's body, Regan mourned his death, tears streaming down her face. Coming up to comfort her, Zayn and Roan set their hands on her shoulder, feeling her emotional pain. Their touch didn't seem to do anything to help her, it just made her feel worse about her boyfriend's de[pature.\\
Next to Casey's corpse, Patience and Clementine huddled over his body while Raphael came over to them to assess the damage... it was hard for him to look down at the teenage boy's mangled face, destroyed to the middle of his skull, his brain, to nothing. Casey is not there anymore and it killed Raphael inside to know his human brother was gone forever.
As for Leonardo, his anxiety is reaching his peak now that one of his best friends is dead... brutally butchered. The invisible knife is stabbing him consistently in the chest, piercing his fragile and worn-out heart that is full of sorrow. Leo doesn't know how to process his thoughts now that Casey and Nathan are no longer on this earth.
It's all a mess. Just a mess.

On another hand, Osa thought about Amber and hoped she was okay, away from danger. She was glad her friend wasn't involved with last night's little event.
Osita laid across one of the beds in the health triage so she could recover from the beating she took last night from Sam. She had to get her head patched up, her jaw needed to relax, and she just moped in the bed with her head lying on the pillow.
While the shapeshifter regains her energy, Vincent walked into the medical triage and found her friend taking a well-deserved rest after so much pain that had been given to her. A ton of guilt was rushing over Vv like a waterfall... now that she knows a baby inside her, things felt a lot more different. She felt different about herself, her friends, and of course, the environment she lived in... But most of all, she was thankful for Osa's friendship.
Vincent chose to sit in a chair that was closest to Osa's bed, folding her hands in her lap while her friend was embarrassed about the beating she received from Sam... weirdly, Osa is happy she took the beating. If she hadn't, Vv would have been badly hurt and the baby would not be alive inside her.
Still feeling the guilt, Vv ran her hand through her long brown hair as a hundred questions filled her head, unable to get them out. The only words she could say were simple, "Thank you." She whispers.
Osa turned in the bed gently, choosing to face Vv in the chair with a bruised face and partially bloody wounds. "You're welcome..." She trailed off, seeing Donnie isn't here. "Where's Don?"
