Leonardo had watch today at the gates in a uniform and a gun at his side. He wore a pair of large black pants with the same belt he had worn before. As he stood on the scaffolding that overlooked the other side of the gates, Leo searched for any kind of movement on the road, down the road, off the road, the bushes... Anywhere. He wanted Vincent and Duke to come home because he feels guilty for letting them go out into the world where anything can get a hold of them. "Come on, you guys." He said to himself, hoping they'd appear from somewhere.

Then, coming to join him is his girlfriend, Criss. She climbed onto the scaffolding and handed him a fresh red apple from Ration Alley. "I got this, Leo. Take a break."

Leo took the apple as he looked at Criss, smirking at her. "Thanks, hun... I think I'll wait until Duke and Vincent come home." He gave the apple back.

Criss sighed at him. "We don't know when that will be, Leo. You need to eat. A nibble or something."

Criss sort of insisted on Leo taking the apple, but he'll only take it if she consumes half of it. "Fine." He takes the Granny Smith apple, cuts it down to the core with his katana, and hands Criss half of it while he took a bite from the other. "Thanks." He says.

"Not a problem."

Together, they guarded the same part of the gates and wait for their friends to come back home with some sort of gold mine. Whether it's a giant bag of food or just a few cans.

Shado napped in her tent with her dog Sunny sleeping on her chest. Whenever she was napping, it was to either pass time or she just needed a good rest. The second she went into her deep napping hour, Shado moved and turned in her sleep. This is the first nightmare she had in EdgePort and she didn't like one bit of what she saw in the nightmare. "Mikey! Mikey!" She called out from her cot, she caught her breath and realized she is back in reality.

Regan came in through the tent instead. "Hey! Mikey is in Ration Alley. What's up?"

Shado puts her glasses on and sits up with Sunny still lying down. Whatever she was dreaming about, it must have been about the possible future. "The war."

"What about it?" Regan quietly said.

"There's gonna be so much death..." Shado replied, breathing out deeply.

Regan thought about all the people outside. The men who are young and some that are old. Women who are expecting, and have children, are innocent. The kids themselves will not be able to experience another soccer game or try different things. No more teaching young minds. She knows Shado is right; there is going to be so much bloodshed and there's no way for it to be stopped unless they leave home or don't go with war as a solution.

No matter what happens from the Bendovians, EdgePort can't stop them unless they follow through with the war they planned against this killer group.

The day grew old quickly.

As the sun went down for the night, Mikey searched for April because he wanted to speak to her about rationing. He couldn't seem to find her in Ration Alley, the park, or anywhere in the community. The only place he didn't check is her tent and that is the next place he looked. Mikey asked the guards if he can pass through and have a chat with her-- the guards refused his entry and claimed that April was 'busy' with a few things. Michelangelo didn't believe them, so he snuck through the back of the tent and found the young woman standing in the middle. "April, we need to talk." The moment Mikey saw her, in a million years, he didn't think he would get to see April under the influence of alcohol.
