I have talked to readers and people that have so many problems and so many things weighing on their back. And I'm sorry that you have to live with it. I can't sit here and let you guys suffer alone. So, I'm going to do something about it.
Now, these books I've written holds a special place in my heart. Some of you guys have even mentioned how you loved the way I blend fantasy with reality. I do that for a reason, I don't want your fantasies to create a complex in your head. These books are just as strong as the media that everybody claims controls us. So yes, I wrote about body hair and imperfections and I don't romanticize mental illness (unless I have to for the plot, but I usually give a warning about that) because I don't want this unrealistic image of how we should be in your head.
There's been some drama with a writer and out of respect, I will not name who they are or what happened (if anybody comments about it, I will delete it, no negotiations.) that made me realize something.
I haven't made my point clear in these books.
It's okay to take a break from reality and go to these books, it's okay to relax a little and indulge in a fantasy world. But, it's not okay for you to use my books (or any books, really.) to constantly ignore the problems at hand. My books are an aid to help you grow and be comfortable with yourself.
But know, that my books won't always be here. That, Wattpad won't always be here. So, don't use my books to lean on.
Don't use my books as a crutch when you can stand perfect fine on your own with a little strength exercises.
I believe that you can heal, and even when you've healed and all there's left are scars, I believe you can cope.
Healthily.

Because there is poetry in the way we be. There are paintings in your eyes and watercolor in your veins. Stories etched in your skin and music in your lungs. We live Art. We create Art. We are Art.
