This story takes place 5 years after hogwarts, Draco and Harry have been together since their sixth year and never told anyone for fear of their reactions.

Harry sat down heavily onto the couch in his and Draco's living room. He was holding a copy of the daily prophet in his hands staring at the front cover. The article read "Draco Malfoy spotted with wedding band" The article went through the story of the picture. It was Draco coming out of the ministry building after a conference with a gold and silver wedding band on his left ring finger. Harry stared at the article for a long time not knowing what to do. The couple were always careful to take their rings off when in public, but evidently, Draco had forgotten that particular morning. After thinking for a long time the front door lock clicked and the door swung open. Harry looked up to see Draco coming in from work looking slightly stressed.

"Hi love, im home" Draco said sounding  cheerful.

"Hey dray, how was work?" Harry asked peeking over the paper.

"Stressful, we got another big case in and sorting out the details has been mind numbing to say the least" Draco sighed taking off his shoes and coat, sitting down next to Harry on the couch.

"What does the prophet have to say today?" Draco asked. Looking at the paper.

"That apparently your married" Harry half teased. Draco suddenly paled. Looking at the picture realizing what it was.

"What do we do?" Draco asked Harry sounding worried.

"I have been thinking about it, we could just tell our friends and family" Harry said apprehensively.

"Are we ready for that? What will they say?" Draco asked in a hurry. Harry smiled.

"We have been married for almost two years now, we have to tell them some time" Harry answered. Draco stiffened slightly.

"Well its not our fault that after Ron and Hermione got married they basically fell of the face of the earth" Draco reminded Harry.

"True but we have to tell them, plus I found out that they moved back to the burrow, so now we can owl to them easier". Harry said looking at Draco's face for approval.

"Alright we can invite them over and tell them, its not like we really have anything to be afraid of, right?" Draco asked looking for approval. Harry nodded. Getting up.

"I will go owl them to invite them over for saturday" Harry said before going to write the note. Pulling out an envelope and a quill. He wrote.

Dear Mione and Ron,
I heard you moved back to the burrow and wanted to know if you wanted to come have dinner at my flat with me, since its been at least two years since we have seen each other  in person. It would be this Saturday at five if your interested. Owl back as soon as you can.
Harry

Harry sealed the envelope and gave it to his owl, telling her to bring it to the burrow. Then he got up and went back to Draco.

"I sent the letter, but didn't say anything about you in it, just the time and place." Harry looked at Draco.

"I guess its better to tell them in person than over an owl" Draco half laughed.

"That's what I was thinking too, now come on, lets make dinner" Harry said entangling his hand in his husband's guiding him to the kitchen.

The week went by quickly until it was Saturday already. Harry and Draco thoroughly cleaned their flat, and started prepping dinner. Once everything was ready , they went to get dressed. Harry put on a nice pair of medium wash jeans, and a button-up with a pattern on it. He combed his hair, fixed his glasses and put on a pair of his nice dress shoes. Draco put on a pair of grey slacks and his favourite deep red sweater, putting on a pair of boat shoes and brushing his hair. Before the pair knew it, five o'clock had arrived and there was a knock at the door. They kissed before Draco went to the kitchen to start dinner and Harry went to the door. When he opened the door he was welcomed by his two bestfriends wide smiles.
