This one-shot takes place in a time where Lupin never left hogwarts, and he and Sirius are in a relationship, Harry and Draco are around 16.

Today was just like any other fall day for Harry. He woke up, got dressed, brushed his teeth, and went down to the Great Hall for breakfast with Hermione and Ron. They casually made their way down since it was still early and breakfast was only just served. Reaching the Great Hall Harry instinctively glanced over at the Slytherin table looking for a certain blonde. Who glanced at Harry and gave a small wink while sipping on his cuppa. Probably his second Harry guessed, knowing his boyfriend was not a morning person. Harry gave a small smile before turning his attention back to his friends. Sitting between them at the Gryffindor table. Ron of course loaded his plate with whatever he could, Hermione pouring herself some tea and munching on some toast while reading a new book her parents had sent her. Harry put some eggs, bacon and toast on his plate and poured himself some tea as well. When he looked up again he saw professor Lupin walk into the hall, he greeted the trio good morning and sat at the staff table in a chair where he could see both Harry and Draco's faces. Remus had become increasingly more suspicious that Harry was seeing Draco, he just didn't have proof enough to confront Harry. He had noticed the smiles and winks they gave each other, or the more than tousled hair they would show up with. He didn't have a problem with it of course, not only since he was seeing Sirius who was Harry's godfather but also because he considered Harry to be his nephew, he just wanted to make sure Harry was being safe and cautious. If he got any evidence he would talk to Sirius and decide what to do. But for now he needed coffee. Slowly the Great Hall began to fill with students and teacher's and chatter could be heard. Harry had finished his breakfast and was staring at Draco over the rim of his teacup. Draco noticed and decided to put on a show. He picked up his signature green apple and took a bite. The juice dripping down his lip, licking it slowly while barely making eye contact. Harry was watching a blush creeping onto his face, and the juice dripped down the apple and Draco licked it sending a gaze Harry's way. Harry almost choking on his tea. As he stopped coughing he glanced at the staff table to see Remus staring at him, then glancing to Draco and then going back to eating. Harry didn't panic since Draco had finished eating his apple and breakfast was almost over anyways. Remus was now convinced something was going on, and he had to get more proof. He remembered that right after breakfast he had Harry's class for Defense Against the Dark Arts. That's when it came to him, he would pair Harry and Draco together. He excused himself from the staff table and made his way to his classroom. He quickly made a list of student pairings as the bell rang and his class began to stream in. Harry was always careful to walk in the Hermione and Ron, and Draco with Pansy and Blaise. Always sitting on opposite sides of the room. Remus was eager to start class and as soon as the last bell rang he began.

"Alright everyone, today you will be working in pairs, of my choosing, and you will each be assigned a different project which will be due by the end of class."

Everyone looked eager until he said they would be in pairs that he had picked.

"Ron you will be paired with Neville, Hermione will be paired with Pansy, Blaise will be paired with Dean, Seamus with luna." Remus went down the list ending on Harry and Draco.

"And Harry will be paired with Draco." He finished, trying to read their faces.

They looked shocked at first but didn't fight it, like he had known them to have done in the past. Once their shock was over they both set small grin's on their faces. This was no where near enough evidence. He assigned all their project's and sat at his desk in the front of the room watching everyone, but mostly watching Harry and Draco. He caught glimpses of smiles and side glances, even hand's brushing occasionally. This was evidence enough. After class ended he retreated to his office locking the door and casting a silencing charm, making a quick fire call to Sirius. The fire roared and Sirius' face appeared with a smile.
