Wolfstar

So I decided to write a Wolfstar one-shot because that's my second favourite ship, I hope you like it.

Sirius and James were rushing down platform 9 3/4 trying to find a place to get on the scarlet steam engine that would take them back to school. Sirius was glad to escape, for he had spent the entire last month of his summer living with the Potter's. Not that he didn't like living with the Potter's but the circumstances were not great ones.  He had packed up his things one night after having a fight with his mother. Sirius had hugged Regulus and told him he would see him at school before Flooing to the only place he truly felt welcome. No one knew exactly what happened except for Remus. Sirius had constantly owled the werewolf over the summer as they had started a relationship the past school year.(which is what the fight was about, Sirius' mother had found a letter from Remus).

Both boys felt butterflies as they stepped onto the train and found their favourite compartment. Though Sirius had butterflies for a different reason. It would be his first time seeing his boyfriend in almost three months, since Remus had gone on vacation over the holiday non of the marauder's had been able to see each other.(besides Sirius and James). Sirius slid the door open to find Peter and Remus reading books, sitting on opposite sides of the compartment. James gave his signature large smile and strutted in, sitting next to Peter while Sirius sat next to Remus.

"Hello Moony and Wormtail" James greeted

Peter only greeted the boy back while Remus was enveloped in his book, seemingly unaware they had come in.

"What are you reading that could possibly be more interesting than us, Moony?" Sirius said, throwing his arm around the taller boys shoulder.

Remus seemed to come back to the world as he blinked and looked into Sirius' eyes, his face turning slightly pink. He disgyised it by rubbing his face and giving a fake groan. He couldn't show any signs that he and Sirius were together, not in front of anyone.

"Nothing is more interesting that you three." Remus replied with a slight laugh

The rest of the train ride consisted of the four friends talking about their summers and planning more pranks, this year not just on the Slytherin's. At some point James had left to go see Lily(they were dating by this point) and Peter had wandered to find some Hufflepuff friends, leaving Sirius and Remus alone. Remus settled his head in Sirius' lap and slightly shut his eyes.

"I missed you" Sirius said, playing with Remus' hair

"I missed you too, it was a long summer without you." Remus replied, looking into the other boys eyes

Sirius lent down and gave Remus a gentle kiss on the forehead. Remus laughed gently and smiled. It was moments like this that they both loved. Their time alone to just be themselves and not hold an image or have to watch themselves. Remus loved how gentle Sirius was, it surprised him at first how kind and caring the other boy was but now it was all he knew him by. Sirius love how quirky and smart Remus was, always being helpful with homework or his nose stuck in a book soaking in information. Their love of these individual things would always stay between them, and never leave their lips.

Once they arrived at Hogwarts, the marauders plus Lily and Marlene  climbed into a carriage together. James had a devilish smile on his face that made Remus quite uncomfortable.

"What is with you?" Remus asked suspiciously

"Oh nothing" James replied in a sing song voice

"That face isn't nothing prongs" Sirius added

"Alright, Its just that.. I saw something on the train that made my day." James replied

"What did you see?" Lily asked
