This part of the story takes place in a universe where dorms are two people to a room and all the houses are mixed, but years are still separate.

The train ride back to Hogwarts was an odd one for Harry. Ron and Hermione were of course prefects so they sat in the very front compartment of the train, but so did Draco, which meant not only were his best friends not with him, but neither was his boyfriend. Of course no one knew about Harry and Draco being together, it was a secret they had kept for two years already, and one they intended to keep. Harry was brought out of his thought by voices.

"Hullo Harry, mind if we sit." Luna asked as she opened the compartment door

"Oh, yeah sure." Harry replied

Dean, Seamus, Neville and Ginny all shuffled in, along with Theo.

"Hey" Ginny said, plopping down next to Harry

"Hey gin" Harry smiled, he was glad she had gotten over her crush and seemed to be normal around him again.

Slowly everyone in the compartment began to talk, random things were brought up at first, then they all talked about school and their favourite subject. Then the conversation halted when Theo brought up how Draco was behaving oddly.

"He just seemed to disappear some days, it was like he would fall off the face of the earth for a week, then reappear with no explanation for where he had been." Theo said, after Neville asked why he thought Draco was being odd

"That is weird and unlike him." Neville replied

"Yeah, usually he wants to be the center of attention" Dean laughed as Harry tried not to glare.

Harry had tuned out. He was thinking about all the fun things he and Draco had done during their few weeks together over the summer. They had gone to a small beach that was secluded and empty, staying their until it was dark. The couple had stayed in a cabin with Sirius and Remus for a few days in the scottish countryside. They went on adventures and had a lot of fun. Harry only realized he probably had a dumb smile on his face when he was asked a question by Dean.

"So, who is she?" He prodded for an answer

"Who?" Harry asked, confused

"The girl who has the chosen one staring into space and smiling like an idiot." Seamus supplied

"There isn't anyone, I was just thinking about my summer with my uncles" Harry replied

"Mhmm, and I'm the queen." Dean replied

"Come on Harry." Ginny said, bumping his arm

"There isn't a girl, I swear." Harry replied, throwing his hands up

Neville put his brow up at the use of the word girl, but encouraged everyone to drop the subject. When conversation had picked up again and the trolley had passed separate conversations had branched off, Harry ended up talking with Luna.

"So how is you dad?" Harry asked

"He is doing well, he recently interviewed Hagrid for a new story about the dangers of keeping nifflers as pets. I think it will be a good one." Luna replied airily.

"Oh yeah, Hagrid had mentioned that in one of his letters, he was pretty excited." Harry said

"How is your godfather and professor Lupin?" Luna asked

"They are doing well, we spent alot of time travelling this summer, all around having adventures." Harry answered

"That's wonderful" Luna said with a dreamy look
