Warning, this will be sad, and I apologize for that, nevertheless I do hope you enjoy, also, this is my version of the after life and what it might be like so its going to be just like living just without the need for money or working, kind of like a utopia sort of thing

Things were in a panic at Grimmauld Place, the entire order had gathered and were about to apparate to the ministry. No one had told Sirius anything until Remus showed up.

"Moony? What's going on?" Sirius asked

"It's a very long story but you know who has gotten into Harry's mind through some sort of connection and made him believe you were at the ministry being tortured." Remus answered in as few words as possible

"So this is a rescue mission, is anyone with Harry?" Sirius asked, not losing his cool

"Dumbledore says he took at least Ron and Hermione with him, if not a few more" Remus replied

"To the ministry!" Sirius said

"Pads, we aren't supposed to bring you with us" Remus gently said

"If any of you think I'm not going to rescue my godson and his friends you are sorely mistaken, now, take me side along with you Moony" Sirius said in a stern voice

Remus looked to the rest of the order, who had gathered around and were going to protest until they saw the resolve on Sirius' face.

"I say he comes with us" Tonks said

The rest who were present seemed to agree. So Remus and Sirius linked arms and everyone apparated to the ministry.

From there everything moved incredibly quickly, running through doors and hallways, constantly on guard for any death eaters. The battle raged on within the ministry, as the order fought off death eaters and did their best to protect Harry and his friends. The last thing most of them remember is Sirius dueling Bellatrix and then an awful, heart breaking scream from Harry, as Remus held him back.

At first, everything was dark, then slowly as if waking up, the world came into focus, or what Sirius thought was the world. The first thing he saw was two shapes, human in nature and both familiar. One a woman, with red hair and fair skin, the other a man with messy black hair and glasses. It was quiet until the woman spoke.

"Shhh, he's waking up!" She exclaimed at the man standing next to her

"Ginny? Harry? Where are we? What happened?" Sirius mumbled, rubbing his eyes, slowly sitting up

"Try again Padfoot" said the man in a warm and familiar voice and with a small chuckle

The voice startled Sirius into fully opening his eyes and looking at the two people in front of him. He sat on the ground in shock at who he was looking at.

"James? Lily?" Sirius said in his confused state

"Second times the charm" James smiled

"How?, I thought you were dead" Sirius asked trying to comprehend what was going on

"We are" Lily said softly

"Then how am I seeing you and why is everything so bright?" Sirius asked but another question

"I think you know the answer to the first question" James replied, his face full of sympathy

"But- but if im dead too, then, that means we are in the afterlife" Sirius said, seeming to comprehend some of what was happening. He stared at James and Lily, who hadn't said anything, not knowing what to say to someone who had just died.
