love bites(slight smut)

This story will be slightly in the smut category, if you don't like making out and stuff like that, skip this one, anyways, hope you enjoy, also this takes place in a Hogwarts where the houses exist but don't divide students.

January was brutal this year at Hogwarts. It seemed colder than it had ever been, the snow had frozen almost completely into mounds of ice, and it was almost unbearable to be outside. Of course heavy winter cloaks were needed but also scarves. Most people even wore gloves and hats to try and stave off the chill. Luckily the interior of the castle had powerful heating charms, so non of this was needed when indoors. Most students just wore their house jumpers and were fine. Except for a handful, mostly students who were usually cold but through out the month Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter could be seen wearing scarves inside. What everyone didn't know is why they wore the scarves.

Breakfast in the Great Hall was normal for a Saturday. People were eating breakfast, talking and waiting for the post. Harry was sitting with a large group of sixth years that consisted of Hermione, Ron, Seamus, Dean, Neville, Luna, and Theo, Pansy, Blaise and Draco. This was their usual group with the occasional seventh year like cedric sometimes joining. They were all glad for their large group, there was always a lot to talk about. Especially couple stuff, seeing as Dean and Seamus were together as well as Neville and Theo. The post came and Harry quickly opened a familiar letter.

Harry,
Hope your doing well with the cold, dont forget to wear your scarf and gloves when you go out, and also dont forget that we miss you.

P.S. Sirius says that he has a surprise coming with this letter.

Harry smiled, he loved getting letters from his uncles, but what could Sirius possibly be sending him? Whatever it was, Harry was sure it had to do with what he had told them in his last letter. He was lost in though by multiple voices calling his name.

"Huh?"

"We wanted to know if you were busy today?" Hermione asked.

"Oh, um, yeah, but not till later, why?"

"We all wanted to go to Hogsmeade" Theo chirped.

"Sounds good, lets just grab winter stuff and we can meet  by the doors." Harry replied while getting up.

The group all nodded and everyone got up to grab their cloaks, hats, scarves and gloves so they wouldn't freeze. Once they met at the doors, Filch checked their names off and let them go. The walk was bitter, it wasn't windy but frozen air turned skin red in seconds. Harry glanced over at Draco to see  bright pink skin and he smiled. He loved how pale and smooth Draco's skin was. Quickly snapping out of it Harry trudged on.

Once in the village, the large group stayed in the Three Broomsticks for most of the day, where it was warm and comfortable. They were all happy and chatting not realizing that Harry and Draco had slipped off, saying they were going back to the school without explanation. But no one thought odd, knowing that the two were not fans of the cold and usually didnt last long when it was like this.

Draco waited for Harry by the entrance of the pub, and grabbed the shorter boy into a hug as he walked out. They stood there, hugging until remembering where they were, blushing and deciding to retreat farther into the village. Harry who wasnt wearing gloves stuck one of his hands into Draco's pocket and sighed.

"I told you to bring gloves." Draco laughed

"Why would I do that when I can put my hand in your pocket?" Harry hummed.

"I suppose my pocket is better than a glove." Draco replied.

They walked like that, close to each other, enjoying the peace that the cold weather offered. After wandering they needed somewhere warm to go, so they ventured back to the shrieking shack. Harry had charmed it to be silent, warm and accommodating for him and Draco ever since they made it their meeting spot. When they first started dating the couple needed a place to go that was outside the prying eyes of the population of hogwarts. So Harry asked his uncles and they suggested the shack, which Draco thought was brilliant so they made it theirs.
