It was a friday evening. The Great Hall was loud with laughing, talking and joking. The room went silent as Dumbledore stood and made an announcement.

"Students of Hogwarts, it is my pleasure to tell you that this time tomorrow you will all have access to a carnival here on the grounds. This carnival will be filled with all sorts of muggle things for you all to experience and to help make students feel more welcome. Tomorrow morning your head of house will brief you on more details but for now I leave you with this news."

Instantly the muggle students broke into excited chatter. When Hogwarts had events they weren't usually steered towards muggle life.  Hermione and Harry turned toward each other and started discussing what might be there.

"Oh! I wonder if they will have fairy floss! I miss it so much!" Hermione said.

"I hope they have all the fried foods you can only get at carnivals! " Harry exclaimed.

Draco and Ron just looked at each other very confused as to what their partners were talking about.

"Um, Mione? What is fairy floss?" Ron asked

"You will see!" Hermione squealed.

"I dont see why a carnival is so exciting, you can go to one in Diagon Alley anytime." Draco said

"This is different! This is like the ones we have in the muggle world. They are two very different things, but still so cool!" Harry chided.

The school was bursting with anticipation the entire next day. The carnival was to start at three and end before curfew, but older students got an extension of an hour to their curfew. Which meant that fourth years an up had seven hours to experience the whole thing, an hour and a half of which would be spent without younger students.

When lunch had begun the hall was so loud you could hardly hear yourself think. Harry felt his head swim with many voices until there was a light tap on his shoulder. Turning he Luna standing there, seeming very focused for once, to ask him a question.

"Harry, if I asked Ginny to the carnival do you think she would say yes?" Luna asked

"Yes, in all honesty she never stops talking about you." Harry smiled.

Luna gave a signature dreamy smile and wandered over to find Ginny and ask her. Harry was happy that Ginny would finally have someone. What with Dean and Seamus, him and Draco, Ron and Hermione, and Neville dating Theo, she was alone in the friend group. He sighed and looked at Draco lovingly. The blonde caught green eyes and instinctively winked.

"Like what you see, Potter?" Draco teased while smiling.

"Everytime" Harry replied

Ron made a joke gagging noise and Hermione shoved him slightly. He just laughed and threw his hands up while Harry shot him a jokingly angry glare. Once lunch was over there was still two hours to burn before three. So Harry and Draco went and laid in the Gryffindor common room on a couch and took a nap, Draco laying on top of Harry. Snuggled under a patch work blanket Hermione had knitted.

When Harry woke up he had blonde Hair tickling his chin as Draco slept. He could see the rise and fall of the others back as he breathed slowly and serenely. Harry looked at the clock to see it was fifteen to three. Deciding to stay there for a few minutes longer he took in the sight that was his boyfriend. The blonde hair he loved to run his hands through, the pale skin that was soft and warm. The sharp features that complemented each other so well. Harry loved everything about Draco and more. When the clock read ten to three Harry kissed Draco's head to wake the other boy up. Draco stirred and shifted his head to look up at Harry.
