Healing together-part 2

This is part two of my last one-shot, even though they won't have the same plot they involve the same topic so I wanted to make them a 2 part series sort of thing, I hope you enjoy!

Sunlight had just begun to stream through the curtains and into the room when Harry's alarm went off. Well really it was an alarm for both him and Draco, as they both needed to be up for work. For a moment neither man moved as the alarm continued to go off, then slowly, Harry stirred and shut it off. He sighed and turned over to see Draco still sound asleep, blonde hair covering his eyes as he breathed softly. Harry brought a hand to Draco's cheek, gently stroking the soft skin. After a few minutes of admiring his boyfriend, he shifted in the bed so that he was sitting up and facing the window, feet touching the floor. He stretched his back and arms, hearing a soft groan coming from the bed behind him, a smile crossing his face.

"Good morning" Harry said in a gruff voice, still laced with sleep

"Morning" Draco replied groggily, as he opened his eyes and also stretched

"What would you like for breakfast?" Harry asked

"Whatever you're having" Draco said as he sat up and yawned

Harry stood and stretched one last time before leaving the room to make breakfast while Draco showered. He could hear the water running as he set the coffee pot up to brew and put toast in the toaster. Taking a pan from the cupboard and grabbing a few eggs from the fridge, as well as some bacon, he began to make breakfast. As soon as Draco stepped from the shower he could smell the bacon and eggs cooking and the coffee brewing, something he always loved. Just as he came down the stairs in his work clothes, Harry had put breakfast on the table. The two sat, skimming through the prophet together as they ate. After they had finished, Draco stayed to wash the dishes while Harry went to get dressed.

Harry rummaged through his drawers looking for clothing, finally deciding on a jumper and some jeans. Then tying up his work boots and venturing down the stairs. By the time he made it down to the kitchen, Draco was just finishing the dishes. He walked over and wrapped himself around the blonde, in an attempt to stall having to go to work, even if it was only for a moment. Draco smiled and returned the embrace, enjoying the moment, kissing Harry's forehead. After the moment was over they stepped apart, and walked to the sitting room where their fireplace was. Both putting on their outer robes.

"Please be safe at work" Draco said as he kissed Harry and stepped into the fireplace

"I always am" Harry smiled

Draco threw down the powder and said the name of his destination, watching Harry disappear behind the flames. Harry waited until the flames had dissipated until he stepped in and did the same thing he did every morning.

When the flames had grown small enough, Harry stepped out into the atrium of the ministry. He walked to the lifts, and requested his floor. Once he had stepped out, he walked to his and Ron's office, unlocking it and stepping in. He sat at his desk and noticed that the intake basket already had a file in it, deciding to wait for Ron to come in, he went to the break room for some tea. By the time he was back in the office, Ron had arrived along with Hermione , who were saying their farewells for the day. She gave Ron a kiss on the cheek and departed to the top floor where she worked as the ministers right hand.

"Morning mate" Ron said

"Morning, we have a case already" Harry said, sitting at his desk finally picking up the file

"Getting right to it then I suppose" Ron said as he pulled his chair in front of Harry's desk

Harry read the case file over before reporting what it had to say.
