1995 I arrived
Twenty three years damn I'm grateful I survived
We wasn't supposed to get passed Red Bluff High
Jokes on you motherfucker we alive
All these bitches poppin' now is young
Everybody say the music that they make is dumb
I remember I was 18
Scared, unaware, hoping never to be seen
You gotta give a girl a chance to grow some
Give a girl a chance to get to learn something these days
Went from smoking dope to snortin' coke um
Hoping that it's nothing more than just a short phase
Girl you need to come back find your way
Walking round cloudy and confused in a daze
She don't even know her fucking days
First time on her own damn right she came to play
Man she barely old enough to drive
To tell her what she should do who the fuck am I?
I heard she tried to kiss him I'm surprised
She never been the kiss and tell type
Come here baby girl, let me talk with ya
See if I can paint for you the large picture
Congrats cus you made it out ya mamas house
I hope you make enough to buy ya mom a house
I see ya eyes glossy and ya mind soaring
I got some good advice that shit gone get boring
They know you round the block that shit is fake fame
You want to get out now this shit is not a game
She promise things are different and that she's changed
Sadness in her voice like it's a bad thing
Cus everything's expensive she don't pop now
Saving funds is the shit that's hot now
See, she been on a quest for the next wave
Looking to invest the money that she saved
I must say by your drive I'm impressed hey
Cus I love to see a bad bitch get paid
And plus you having fun and I respect that
But I wonder if you think about your impact
These little girls love that you don't give a fuck
Cus that's exactly what's expected when you counting stacks
They wanna see you dance
They wanna see you make a bill
They wanna see you tatted from your face to your heels
And somewhere deep down fuck it she gotta get real
She wanna go back and tell her it ain't all it feels
So when you turn up, know that I'm turning up too
You hit the next city collect your money when it's due
You getting that paper fuck them dishes those days are through
You ain't thinking 'bout the people that ain't thinking about you, true
You got betta shit to do
You went and bought a crib with all the bread that you done grew
She never thought this type of revenue that she's be getting
Hard work and dedication got her here that much is true
One day them kids that's watching they gone grow up
Her story gets retold them lessons they gone blow up
They gone learn from who you are them kids gone glow up
That very fortunately means that you done showed up
No longer scrambling and hoping to get hot again
Almost forgot she only popped cus she was riding trends
Now she old news, but there's nothing she regrets
Cus she got herself a house and she got herself a Benz
And a bunch of jewels and a bunch of shoes
And a bunch of dope friends, girl I'm proud of you
I'm just telling you what's probably gone happen when you rapping bout the type of shit you rapping bout
It's a faster route to the top
I wish you good luck
I'm hoping for your sake they ain't as dumb as they look
But if it's really true what people saying
That you up and left and rearranged your name then I really know your luck trust
You'll be around forever cus you never fell off
To all the girls out there that think they wanna play soft
Just remember shit ain't handed it gotta get got
In five years you gone be in love and on top
For real
