When shit get overwhelming I turn to delving deeper into the spiritual and lyrical
And like a miracle my thoughts start to part ways
And I can imagine brighter days
I can imagine the people living for today
Living life in peace
Can you imagine what that would be like?
A life where the birds and the bees serve one another as brothers
Where mothers and daughters mend their broken spirts
In the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit we spit into the pits of hell that we may no longer dwell in the past
We pray that the well of wellness will bless this world and remind us of our worth
What's the worst that can come from making amends?
Let's be friends and forget we were once enemies
Envy can only get us so far
Shoot for the stars and reach the moon
Soon not even gravity can hold you down
It's ok to feel down in the dumps after you've jumped and found your feet fell back to the ground
Give it another round it won't happen the first time
It might not happen the second time, or the third time sometimes it takes a million times a try before you reach the sky
But I know one day I'll fly and I'll no longer have to wonder why I tried so many tries that my tires almost lost tread
Cus I know that I was bred for this
I swear I make my bed in this
One day imma be on everybody's list
