Love is shown in more than words and I've heard it all before but I need more than a conversation
Reciprocation is a two way street
And you can't cheat what already has you beat
Ain't it neat how I can read you telepathically?
Telefones and Nonames play wicked games that tell futures full of gains
But empty bedrooms and old nudes prove that things still stay the same
Nothing's changed and I'm the one to blame
I'm worth more than the small change in your pocket
Keep my picture in a locket and throw away the key
I'm all that you need only when it is that you need me
Completely understood as it should be
You're starting to sound like a record on repeat
The same words over and over again I'm waiting for you to send a different message
I told you before my time is precious don't make me feel dumb
My one rule of thumb is to grow in solitude
And I don't mean to sound rude but I don't need you my dude
You were something new and I am forever grateful for the experience
But life is an experiment
And I can't to see what I can make of it
