Three years and too many tears to count later
I wonder if they'll ever amount to anything
She's taken everything and given nothing in return yet somehow turned it into something too meaningful for you to let go of
One appointment passed when was the last time she encouraged you to find yourself
Whose mental health are you looking after at this point because all the signs point to her and her broken joints what's the point in pretending that you're only just friends?
Thirteen years gone it feels like so long since he touched you
It's not fair the way your life played out
I doubt I can take away the pain
In vain I hope my words will touch you in a way that makes you feel safe
Is it safe to say she's become your escape?
Now you're lost and can't find your way home
You forgot you were sewn beside five surviving souls
No it's just you two against the world
Just you and your girl
But you know what they say two's company, and three's a crowd
You, her, and the demon make an unhappy threesome
What's the reason for this never ending season because it doesn't make sense to me?
You have enough sense to know better
You're too damn clever
I know you know a toxic relationship when you see one
You say you won't be the one to get stuck in a muck
But luck won't get you out of this rut
You can't twist and turn the situation by determination you're just wasting your time
Cus time is all we got and you've wasted a lot on breaking up
Seven months ago a lovely Leo decided to let go of her lazy lover
Against all odds she set forth for Oz in August
She follows the yellow brick road in hopes of finding courage in the Emerald City
But she is emotional and leads with her heart
Brick by brick she will build herself up at the start
And the day will come when neither lions nor tigers or bears will scare her
She will bear her teeth and speak of the story of the cowardly lioness who found her strength and courage within her distress
