Ryes pov
We were walking near the gym when Courtney and Carly came up to us Ruth stood in front of Katie
Courtney: I'm not here for Katie
She said to Ruth I put my arm around Katie so her back was on my chest and then the shouting started Katie tensed up and she went to walk away then the punches start she walked away I pulled both girls away from each other getting hit a few times
Rye: STOP IT
A few teachers came running towards us as I grabbed Ruth and pulled her away we walked towards the entrance as she calmed down I saw Katie wait for us Ruth had to go so we walked back to the gym where a lot heard about the fight Katie walked out of the gym
Katie's pov
I walked into the hallway and didn't see that Jessica was stood there
Jessica: what are you creeping for
I just ignored her went to see if Ruth was in the corridor
Jessica: this is your fault
Katie: how
Jessica: because if you didn't message everyone's boyfriends like the bitch you are none of this would have happened
Katie: I haven't done anything
We kept shouting at each other and one of the cover teachers came out
Miss C: girls stop
Rye: come on Katie
I walked away rye following me
Rye: Katie
I walked into the disabled toilets rye looked around to see if anyone was looking and walked into the disabled toilet and locked the door he just hugged me I wasn't going to cry
Rye: are you ok

Ryes pov
We walked out and there was a huge circle in the hallway I heard talking I walked with Katie and saw Jessica and her group
Jessica: Rye, Katie just in time I wanted to tell everyone about Katie's twin brother Lewis yeah he didn't move away he died but Katie didn't want to tell anyone why's that Katie
She looked at Katie and Katie ran away I saw Katie's little brother Ryan and he went to hit her but I grabbed him
Katie's pov
I ran to maths knowing that my maths teacher will help
Miss T: Katie what's wrong
Katie: Jessica told everyone about Lewis dying
She just hugged me I heard someone running I looked up and saw Rye his mouth bleeding and he was limping he came and hugged me
Rye: I'm sorry
Katie: what happened
Rye: your brother went to hit Jessica but I stopped him but his friend from year 12 thought I was trying to hurt him so he got me and yeah but I'm fine
He smiled down at me I shook my head
Rye's pov
We walked home well to my house anyway we walked in and Katie went upstairs
Rye: mum I'm home
I walked into the kitchen she turned round
Lily: hey....what happened to you Rye
Rye: school happened
Lily: did you get into a fight
