Katie's pov
This week has flown by me and Rye have been rehearsing after school even though the talent show is at the start of December and it's the end of October we were in tutor and Rye was late he ran in there was a bruise on his cheek and a cut on his eyebrow his clothes were dirty I stood up miss let me go out I ran out to him he was leaning against the wall in pain
Katie : Rye what happened
Rye : I got into a fight
He said sarcastically I rolled my eyes
Katie: you're going home
He looked up
Rye: no my parents can not know they will have to move again
Katie: what do you mean
Rye:it doesn't matter let's forget about it I have spare uniform that I bring
I laugh
Katie : go get changed
We walked to the changing rooms and I waited outside he then walked out a few moments later
Katie: who did you fight
Rye: they guys from Tutor
Katie:Rye why
Rye: they were talking bad about you and I couldn't take it so I punched one and then this happened
I shake my head
Rye: what you really expected me to listen to them talk about my bestfriend like that
Katie: preferably yeah now you have that conscience on you for the rest of the year
Rye: at least appreciate it
Katie: appreciate what Ryan that you're getting into fights
Rye: well I didn't have to do that for you
Katie: I didn't want you to anyway
I rolls my eyes
Rye: well I'm sorry ok
He raised his voice lightly I shook my head
Katie: it's done now whatever happens is your fault
I sighed and we walked back to tutor in silence
Rye: Katie I am sorry if i knew that it was going to affect you this much I wouldn't have done it
Katie: even if it didn't affect me you shouldn't have done it but it's fine
Rye: we are still bestfriends right
I nodded and smiles and he smiled too
Lunch
For some reason Rye went and sat with Jessica and her friends I don't know what the deal is there but it's fine because I had Nicola and Cristina but I was nervous and paranoid he started walking towards us
Rye: hey Katie
Katie: hey Rye
Rye: you would be honest with me wouldn't you
Katie - of course
Rye: ok
He smiled slightly
Katie : why
Rye: it's just Jessica and Emma told me that you said you wish I never came to this school because I'm an annoying freak
I was shocked
Katie: do you believe them
Rye: I mean I don't know they said it wasn't the first time you've done something like this
Katie: Rye we are supposed to be bestfriends
I said upset
Rye: we are aren't we
Katie: I mean make your mind up do you believe them or not
Ryes pov
Of course I didn't believe them I've seen the way the act
Rye: I believe you because you're my bestfriend
I smiled and hugged her and she smiled back but started to walk over to the girls
Rye: Katie don't
Katie: what is your problem
She asked Jessica
Jessica:what
Katie: you know what making lies up about me to Rye it's getting boring now why can't you just leave me alone
She shouted making the whole cafeteria look at her
Jessica: this isn't over it never will be
Katie then walked out I looked at Jessica
Rye: you're a horrible bitch do you know that
I said then ran after Katie
