Katie's pov
Katie: Rye
I shouted running towards him he was laid at the side of the road I looked at him
Katie: Rye
He looked at me
Rye: I'm all good
He smiled slightly
Katie: don't lie
Rye shook his head he sat up and there was blood where his head was
Katie: Rye you're bleeding really bad
He stood up
Rye: I'm f-fine
He sat back down his mum came running out
Lily: the ambulance is on the way
Robbie pushed me out the way
Robbie: go away Katie you've done enough
Lily: he's right darling
I look down
Rye: why are you all being so mean to her
Lily: look Rye I want what's best for you and if this happens more than once then what if I loose you what if you are like her brother
I looked up at Rye he was shocked I just ran away

A few weeks later
I had to turn my phone off because Rye had everyone texting me he knocked on the door a few days ago but I told my nana not to answer she's worried about me I guess
Nana: Katie
Katie: yeah come in
I was expecting her to come in but it was Rye instead I looked down
Rye: hey
Katie: hi
Rye: are you ok
I shrugged
Rye: Katie please don't shut me out
I looked at him he had a bruised face in guessing from the accident
Katie: they were right... your brother and your mum I caused this for you I've brought you pain and chaos throughout the last few months I mean you heard your mum she doesn't want you to be the next Lewis you don't actually understand what it feels like to loose a twin or a brother
He was quiet I looked at him and he was crying
Katie: Rye
Rye: that's where you're wrong I may not know what it's like to loose a twin but a brother I can understand but Sammie he's never going to have that bond again
Katie: rye what do you mean
Rye: Shaun's gone Katie
Katie: gone?
Rye: he's d-d-
I immediately understood what he was saying and I pulled him into a hug while he cried
Katie: I'm so sorry
I made him lay down on my bed he laid down on my lap I stroked his hair
Rye: are we still together
He looked at me I nodded he smiled slightly
