Katie's pov
Rye: Katie wait up
She stopped and turned around I ran up to her and pulled me into a hug
Rye: are you ok
I nodded slightly
Rye: I'm sorry that you have to go through that
Katie: it's fine
He shook his head we walked to chemistry and sat down I wasn't really listening I couldn't my mind was telling me awful things
Miss M: Katie what is the answer
I shrugged my shoulders
Miss M: answer me
Katie : i don't know
Everyone laughed including Rye I grabbed my bag and walked out despite the calls of my teacher I just walked around until a teacher pulled me to the side
Mr F: what are you doing
I shrugged
Mr F: Katie we've been through this you can't just walk out of lessons when it gets too hard now I won't get you in trouble so we will walk back
I nodded and we walked back I made my way inside the room and sat down
Rye: you ok
I just ignored him
Rye: what's wrong
I kept ignoring him and I knew I was upsetting him but at this point I didn't care the bell rang and I got my bag and left
Rye:Katie wait up
I carried on walking he caught up to me and grabbed me
Rye : please don't ignore me what did I do
Katie: it's even worse that you don't remember the reason why
Rye : is it because I laughed
Katie: bingo
Rye: I didn't mean it in a bad way
I laughed
Katie: what way did you mean it then Ryan
Rye: I don't know
I shook my head and started walking away
Rye: Katie I am really sorry that i upset you
I looked at him and he did look sorry
Katie: it's not the fact that you laughed at me that hurt the most it's the fact you made me feel like I wasn't good enough
He looked at me
Rye: you are good enough I promise please forgive me
I smile slightly
Katie: ok I forgive you
He smiled and hugged me
(Ryes pov)
I got home and something wasn't right Sammie and Shaun didn't run down the stairs like usual I walked into the living room and mum was there
Rye: hey mum
Mum: hey Ryan
Rye: what's wrong
Mum: sit down darling
I sat down anxiety rushed through me
Mum: I know you got into a fight Ryan
I looked down
Mum: but that's not what we are here to talk about
I nodded
Mum: it's Shaun he's in the hospital
I looked up
Rye: what why is he ok
I started panicking
Mum: he's going to be fine
Rye: what happened
Mum: umm...the twins were playing on their bikes and a car came speeding whilst Shaun was crossing the road and it hit him
My hands were shaking
Rye: do you know who did it
She looked at me and nodded
Mum: next door
I stood up angry
Rye:which one
Mum: Rye please don't do anything stupid
Rye: mum who was it
Mum: Martin
I ran out of the house and ran next door and knocked on the door and to my look Martin opened the door and I didn't hesitate to punch him and I didn't stop
Mum: Ryan stop please
Rye: if my brother isn't ok then I swear to god I will kill you
I shouted and walked away
