Katie's pov
I started school again and I got invited to the national dance competition because someone saw me and Rye dance rye said no because he's worried about his seizures he's having them a lot more recently but he is coming to watch so is his parents and siblings and my family are aswell
Rye: hey Babe are you ready
I nod he hugs me tight to reassure me
Rye: you're going to do amazing
I smile a lot and start to walk in
Rye: Katie
I turn around
Rye: I love you
I run and hug him
Katie: I love you too
I can't believe he said he loves me I run to the sidelines smiling like an idiot until it's my time to dance

I danced my heart out and when I finished everyone stood up u saw Rye in the audience he was crying and he had the biggest smile on his face I slowly walked off as soon as I got off the stage I ran to the audience and rye was waiting for me he saw and ran and hugged me
Rye: I am so proud of you sweet
I was too happy to speak he walked with me to the backstage as we wait for the scores I was the last dancer
Announcer: can all dancers please come to the stage
I looked at Rye and he smiled and kissed me
Rye: if you win which you will I'm taking you to the carnival and then we are going bowling and then we are going somewhere special
I nod and run to the stage
We got to the top 3 and my name hasn't been called yet I was starting to get anxious I looked to the audience and saw Rye blowing me a kiss I catch it and smile
Announcer: in third place is number 7096 with happy days
I clapped for them but deep down I was getting more anxious
Announcer: in second place is 7421 with happier
That's it's I've not placed in this competition I looked at Rye he was smiling why is he smiling I've not placed I shook my head but he wouldn't stop smiling
Announcer: in first place winning the national title is 7654 with clown
Wait that's me I won nationals I walked up and took my award and gave a bow we all walked off and Rye was waiting on the side he hugged me and spun me around
Rye: I'm so so proud of you
I cried in joy
Rye: Lewis is so proud of you
I cry more
Rye: I love you so much
I just hugged him tight
That night was great Rye took me to the carnival it was so pretty we went bowling I won Rye said he let me win but I don't believe him he then took me to the lake where he decorated it with pretty lights and a picnic even though it was dark when we got home we went straight to the room and laid down and rye cuddled me
Katie: thank you Rye
Rye: it's ok sweet
I then drifted off into a deep slumber
