Katie's pov
Nana: get wake up it's school time again
I groaned and got out of bed
Nana : ok I need to go to work but I put a new book in your bag don't look till lunch you know I like to surprise you and have a good day
She kissed me on the head I smiled
Katie : thank you nana I hope you have a good day
She smiled and walked out and caught the bus I usually catch the bus with my bestfriend Eloise but she left so it's me and Ruth
Ruth : heyyyy girl
Katie: hey
Ruth: ok so that Ryan that you're friends with is so funny
I nodded and smiled we just talked about life until we had to get off we then parted I started walking towards the wall where I normally go I heard someone shout my name I turned round and saw Rye running up to me
Rye : heyyy
He said smiling
Katie : hey Rye
Rye : it's finally Tuesday
He said jumping up and down
Katie : what's so good about Tuesday
I laughed
Rye : we do family game night tonight my grandparents are coming and my auntie and uncle and my brother Robbie finally comes home today
He said smiling which made me smile
Katie : aww that's good I hope you have a good time
Rye : thanks
The bell rang and we walked to tutor we went and sat down my old friend Julie walked in and sat next to me I smiled at her and she smiled back
Rye : those boys keep staring at you
Katie : just ignore them Rye
He just nodded
Rye: I don't know why I chose dance by the way I guess I kinda like contemporary dance
Katie : well I can ask the teacher if we can do a duo of a hip hop because we are doing partner work and I wanted to do a solo hip hop routine
He smiled and nodded
Rye: sounds cool
We smiled at each other rest of tutor went by and it was time for maths
(Maths)
I'm in set 4 for maths but I'm bad at it the lesson has just started and I'm getting agitated
Miss T: ok guys I'm going to let you do it on your own now you can talk to the person next to you don't be too loud
I just stared at the worksheet this didn't make sense but I tried I've never been good with maths especially not ratios I did the first few questions but they got really hard I didn't really help that Rye was talking all the time
Katie : Ryan please stop talking
I whisper shouted he stopped and looked down
Katie : I'm sorry
He just ignored me and carried on with his work I was looking at the sheet for 5 minutes
Rye: don't cry
I didn't even realise I was crying I couldn't handle it so I just let it all out and he hugged me
Rye: it's ok Katie don't worry I'll help you
I wiped my eyes and he started helping me until I got it
Katie : thank you Rye and I'm sorry for telling you to be quiet
I said and looked down
Rye: it's fine I'm glad you did I talk way too much
He laughs damn that laugh
