I went home that night. Couldn't sleep. Just cried. Didn't hear from Rye I'm guessing he was spending the time with his family it's been all over the news but we haven't find out all of the names of those who died my phone buzzed

Katie: of course, is there something wrong? x

I waited for Ryan he walked straight in and walked into my room he looked at me his eyes were bloodshot and his lip was bleeding and his face was bruised he walked well more like limped towards me and laid next to me and cuddled into me

He shook his head and he just laid there I stroked his hair he didn't sleep I don't think he could he watched his classmates die some of his friends there was a knock on my door my nana walked in she had a look of sorrow in her eyes I looked at her as she sat on the bed I sat up so did Rye

Nana: your friends Ben, Curtis, Lucas and josh
I looked down trying hold my emotions I then looked up at Rye he was shaking his whole friendship group had been killed he ran out the house I tried to run after him but my nana told me to leave him alone I sighed and started crying
