A few months had past and Rye and Katie haven't spoken
Katie's pov
I was sat in drama listening to Jess we weren't arguing but we had a little disagreement I don't think she knew I was listening but Rye knew and he was listening too
Jessica: I don't even like her I never have
I looked down
Jessica: I don't care if she can hear me
I walked to the back of the room and sat on the stool Rye looked at me but didn't say anything but told Jessica to shut up miss then came in and my group had to stay Behind for a bit I don't trust my words because I knew I would cry
Miss H: Katie are you ok is there something wrong
Katie: yeah I'm fine
Rye looks at me slightly concerned I just turned and we got the work done once it was over I got my bag and left tears left my eyes
Rye: Katie
I stopped and turned round and rye was stood there
Katie: I should've listened
He didn't say anything he just pulled me into a hug I just cried
Rye: shhh it's ok she wasn't worth it
Katie: I'm sorry Rye
Rye: it's ok
I pulled away he looked at me sadly and he wiped my tears
Rye: a beautiful girl like you doesn't need to shed tears over some dumb bitch
I laughed slightly and he smiled
Rye: how about you come to my house and we can eat ice cream and obsess over Tom Holland
I nodded and we walked out of school and headed to Ryes house not before sending a quick message to my nana saying where I was as I was doing that I tripped slightly causing him to laugh
That damn laugh
